Residence Le Palme

Get the room on firs floor with large patio if available. We had second floor with very small balcony that may fit one person but also recycling cans were there so it was not very inviting to sit next to them. Location is perfect and relatively quiet at night time.

Balcony had brooms and trash and recycling cans so was not really for usage. Also beware if you get a second floor you need to carry all your luggage yourself two flights of stairs.

Christina was amazing. She helped us with everything. She is very good at what she does.

I was a little disappointed to find out that there was no washing machine in the unit I stayed. The website clearly states that there is a washing machine in each unit. The one they had was not working properly. Christina quickly replaced it with a new one. Maybe more machines on the property would be better. Also the cleaning ladies used the same machine to wash the towels. I felt they should have done that offsite so as to provide more time for the customers.

Perfect Location and Perfect Host. Across the road to the beach and a few minutes walk to all the restaurants.

Nothing, it was perfect!

The AC was very good and not noisy. Tatiana in the reception was nice and helpful. It was peaceful in spite of being very close to the main bar district and beach, even during the Couscous festival. The place seemed to be recently refurbished so looked nice and was clean.

The apartment was small and not well planned. Even though we were only two people, the kitchen/Livingroom/entrance felt very cramped. With another two people in the sofabed it would have been impossible to move. The balcony is Sicilian style (=tiny) and you can barely sit two people there to have a drink (not a meal). There is access to a rooftop terrace but we could not use it due to strong winds. The residence is in the No traffic zone which means you can’t enter by car. (Possible to get a temporary 30 minute permission to unload the car ). Next time I will choose something less central where it’s easier to move by car, since we want to drive every day to different beaches (Macari and Lo Zingaro).
