Gelsomina is a beautiful, cosy home just a stone’s throw away from San Vito Lo Capo’s centre and lovely sandy beach. Recently restored, the property offers a welcoming interior furnished with taste and equipped with all modern amenities, such as air conditioning, sat-TV, wi-fi, washing machine, dishwasher and parking space. Set on one level, the house includes a spacious living/dining room, a kitchen, two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and two bathrooms.
The outdoor area includes a patio with dining area on the ground floor and a large roof terrace on the first floor, accessed by an external staircase, which offers pleasant views over Monte Monaco and the sea.
Ideal for relaxing holidays by the sea, Gelsomina is also a very good base for visiting many fascinating places such as the Zingaro nature reserve, Erice, Trapani (connections to the Egadis), Segesta’s temple and the salt pans of Trapani and Marsala. A visit to Gibellina Nuova, an extraordinary open-air museum of contemporary art, is also an absolute must.

We were two families with 3 kids (4 year olds and 2 year old). House is really well appointed, rooms are somewhat small but we did have two cribs in two of the bedrooms. The A/C in the living room was broken upon check-in but they managed to repair it in two days. Wi-if is basically non-existing. We had two people in the group that had to work remotely, so I double checked with the agency and they confirmed speed of 50 mb in download and 10 mb in upload. The connection was very unstable and speeds were less than 10 mb in download and less than 1 mg in upload. It was hard to even use google, let alone take video calls. Internet stopped working altogether mid-week for two days. The rooftop is absolutely gorgeous, but if you’re looking to book the house with little kids you won’t be able to use it much as the railings are low and wide (the kids can jump over and inside the railings). If you are all adults, you will love it!! Location is great, 5 minutes walk to the beach and the town center.
