Board game nights can commence in the family room, and your vacation garb can be refreshed in the private washer/dryer. Before exploring the area, get energized by a barbecued meal prepared on the gas grill. In Bass Harbor, take a short and peaceful walk to Bass Harbor Lighthouse, and enjoy the nearby trails of Ship Harbor and Wonderland.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The cottage was just as listed and worked well for us. The view was AMAZING! The stairs down to the beach were great and we loved combing the beach.

This home was a well-equipped quiet escape for our family trip to Acadia. We enjoyed relaxing on the back deck at the end of the day watching nature and the harbor activities.

This is the quintessential stay for all who are weary seeking restorative balm for the soul. Surrounded by nature at its showiest, from the scent of the balsam pines on a morning stroll, to the majestic sunsets in all her varied displays of colors, it embraces your five senses however you want to experience it. The porch deck has the views of the rising moon as the sun sets. You can hear and see the waters ebbs and flows as the tides obey their daily dance. Walks along the rocky sea shore demands your attention to see how nature molds the elements to create the varied surroundings that can only draw from an observer a sense of wonderment.
The homestead itself has all the comforts and amenities worthy of any summer ‘rusticator’.
It’s a jewel of a find.
