Shorelands, Unit 44-3

Close to Kennebunkport, beaches, nature. Spacious, and looked like it was recently renovated. Good value for the money if you're a bigger party probably, not that great for 2 adult and a toddler.

The bedding wasn't clean, the sheets had black hairs on them, looked like someone's dog had been there. The comforter had dried-in crusty stuff on it, don't even want to speculate.. but hopefully it was dog saliva. I called Vacasa (the rental agency responsible for the listing) and reported it, around 5pm on a Saturday. They asked me to make the bed with sheets from the other bed in the apartment, so to use queen bedding to make a king bed, and they would send someone over the next day (we didn't - we cleaned the bedding to the best of our abilites) As I said, the place looked like it was recently renovated, but it felt like a flip renovation. Cheap stuff everywhere, door frames lacked a layer of paint here and there, baseboards didn't line up properly, a faucet in the bathroom was loose, and so on. First impression when entering was great, but the longer we stayed the more flaws we noticed.
