Finest Retreats - Victory Mill - Apartment Five

Beautiful apartment, well stocked with everything you need, exceptionally clean, the bed was really comfy - it is low but it didn’t matter we had a great sleep. Excellent WiFi. Comfy sofa. Luxury towels. The little plug in torches around the property were a great idea. Location is perfect for pubs, dog walking with a secure dog field and access on foot to Dalby forest. We had a brilliant stay will definitely be back.

The electric radiator downstairs didn’t work so it was chilly on arrival but there was an oil heater which was more than adequate.

Good location and parking.

Cleanliness really not up to standard. Shower trap full of hair and muck, shower fan filthy. Lounge riddled with cob webs. Sorry but it’s true I sent photos with evidence. Told the day before our stay that there was no internet, omitting to say that the tv required Wi-Fi. Not ideal we did get a £20 refund for the inconvenience.

Location was excellent and had all the facilities as described.

The WiFi router was located somewhere else in another apartment, so the signal was poor. The TV only worked via the WiFi, so getting connected to any of the platforms on the TV was hit and miss. 4 of the nights we were unable to use the TV as other apartments who were closer to the router had the better of the signal and blocked us out.

Fabulous location, clean modern property, well equipped.

Poorly designed. Whoever had designed it hadn’t lived/stayed in it. No wardrobe or place to put clothes in the bedroom just a rail on wheels. The bed was very low on the floor - more of a futon. No mirror to see to dry my hair, the only mirror was in bathroom ( no socket obviously) had to use ornamental mirror at the bottom of the stairs . The large cupboard in the bedroom had all the cleaning equipment, would have been better as a wardrobe or en-suite bathroom) Bathroom was off the kitchen. Not practical for night time trips to the bathroom. Microwave couldn’t be used where it was placed ( door wouldn’t open) when it was moved there was no worktop space available, so toaster had to be moved. The kettle had to be used near the edge of the worktop ( no other socket ). Every cupboard was full of equipment so no where to store a box of cereal or any other food item.
