Very friendly apartment in a great location.
Great location in the heart of Montpellier, with everything on the doorstep. Very friendly welcome from the lovely Greek family who run the cafe below the apartment. Dad doesn't speak much English but happily came down at midnight and served us a delicious chicken casserole! We would definitely stay here again if we return to Bristol.

Good stay but very uncomfortable bed
Host was very friendly. Great location. Free Parking available on nearby st (6 min walk away).
Incredibly uncomfortable bed. You could feel the planks underneath and as soon as either my partner or I moved, the whole bed moved.
Also, as its top floor with skylight windows, there were no blinds so at 7am we woke up as soon as the sun rose

Location is excellent for Bristol city Centre. Plenty of options locally for eateries. Easy communications around the city.
The building was still being worked on, however did not really affect our stay. Just first impressions.

The location is good. Bed was comfortable.
I booked this for my mother to visit me.
We did not receive any messages from the property. I went see where the flat was and see its entrance to flat is through their cafe. They said they didn't know about the booking. This was the day before my mother's visit. The door to flat doesn't have a lock on the inside so solo travellers may not feel safe. I see in other reviews, a couple of people said a man entered.
The apartment was full of aphids flyong around everywhere due to two dead basil plants in the window. There are no blinds on the two skylights in the bedroom so light sleepers will be awoken by the morning light. The apartment was not clean. The dishwasher was covered in food and had a dirty stand left in there. The oven greasy and dirty with a dirty tray in there. Microwave and toaster, and kettle was not clean. We had to wipe the surfaces. There was a pool of water on the windowsill. The fabric table runner, and tea towel was dirty. Cutlery was not clean. The bathroom was not clean; toilet had pee stains, dust and hairs on it. The surrounding wood was very dusty and of poor quality. Pink ring of mildew around the plug hole, mould near shower, toilet brush had orange rust stains on. There were dusty Christmas decorations in the apartment, large clock with no battery which added to the feeling that the apartment is unloved.
Supposed to be free WiFi, however on the first night we realised we had no password and could not find any welcome pack or similar. We emailed to enquire, told us that the router had been left outside our door. For some unknown reason, the router was not in the apartment. Router didn't work, didn't have a SIM. They did get a new SIM. However, my mum stayed 3 nights and only had WiFi for her last day. I have added photos as proof. And been honest about the stay.

Great stay in Bristol city centre
Really nicely furnished, friendly staff and great location, only thing is we couldnt get the coffee machine to work. But overall really nice and highly recommended

Good location.
The bedroom has 2 x velux windows without any blinds. Full daylight at 5 in the morning making for a very poor nights sleep. Owner’s advice was to ‘buy a mask from IKEA’. Really not a great stay - lack of sleep really impacted on our time in Bristol and very disappointed both with the lack of blinds and owner’s attitude.

The people were wonderful they couldn’t have been more helpful! The flat was spacious and tidy. The bed was super comfortable. Perfect central location. We had a brilliant stay.

Perfect 1 bedroom in the heart of Stokes Croft
This property is in a great location in Stokes Croft, very near the centre. It’s close to everything you need. Also very easy to access the flat through the shop. All at the property were kind and helpful. It had all the necessary facilities.
It’s not flashy but every basic need is covered and the bed is very comfortable!

The actual flat itself is really nice, looks good and very cosy. It also has a full kitchen, which is a bonus.
The flat was a bit cold, we left the electric socket-powered heaters on while we went out for dinner and came back to a good warmth, though it doesn’t seem to stay warm.

If you like overpaying to stay in a converted break room of a dangerous and abandoned building where you can’t contact a

Didn’t feel safe at all as a solo female traveller. The Building was half built so it actually felt like a squat. No wifi available and no reception in the whole flat.
I complained about this after I checked out and they said too bad I didn’t complain earlier when I actually had no choice. Half the lights weren’t working, and then there were sensor lights so you had to trigger them just to walk up the staircase to get up to the room.
Windows left open that I couldn’t reach that made doors swing open in the middle of the night. Dark entry ways which were hazardous. Host walked straight into the room with no warning while I was getting dressed. Was actually pretty surprised that my belongings were still there when I returned after going out. Bed sheets hadn’t been washed, just pillow cases.
For the price - you could very easily get a better room nearby. Definitely not worth it.
