The wood for the log fire was damp & there was no kindling so it took a long time to draw. Once the fire was going it was perfect. It also took us a whole to figure out the gas oven!

We loved absolutely everything about this beyond charming cottage! All the extra touches...mohair blankets, hot water bottles, electric blankets, generous toiletries as well as morning delights (decent filter coffee!)...the list goes on! Did I mention how beautiful (and clean) all the rooms are!
The cottage is well situated close to all amenities too (lovely to be able to walk to the restaurants).
The only thing I didn't like was the fact that we could only stay for one night! Will have to return!
