Gateway Glamping

Very clean, had everything we needed Perfect for a little girly getaway Even though there is three pods it is very private, Private toilet and shower in the pod, mini fridge, tea & coffee facilities,double bed and sofa bed both very comfortable And there was a BBQ area to use aswell but we didn’t get time to use it.

Loved this cute little glamping pod! Had everything we needed, was super cosy and safe and the owner was lovely with texting and making sure we were okay and had everything we needed. We also liked it so we didn’t have to stay in central busy killarney and it was only a 15min drive away

Check in was easy, key was left in a lock box and code was sent to us before we arrived. The pod was very clean. Microwave, toaster, fan and hairdryer were provided as well as a few hangers for clothes. There is storage under the sofa for storing belongings. Plenty of hot water when needed. Location was in a town that can get busy but the area the pods are in is quiet especially at night. A shop is a short walk away as well as a pub and takeaway. There is some outdoor furniture around the pods and the grounds are neat and maintained. There was an issue with the WiFi when we arrived but a quick text to the host and it was sorted promptly. The host was very attentive asking if we needed any recommendations for eating out or visiting. The pods are in a handy location for sightseeing. Parking is right beside the pods. Definitely worth a stay.

Our stay was during a heatwave and the pod was very hot because of this, but in normal conditions this wouldn’t be an issue.

Great experience with a wonderful host. Comfortable pod, very quiet but walking distance to shops, pub and restaurant. Great location to explore the beauty of Kerry. Highly recommended. Thanks.
