Location, Size, Cleanliness.

Parking space: quite a disadvantage if with a car not fit for the terrain. Drainage in the shower: not too good. Posters on the neighbours walls- The anti- Airbnb posters instilled some fear in me. The construction across the road, there was a lot to noise early morning with Lorrie’s driving which disrupted our sleep.

The apartment was very clean, modern , well equipped and perfect location to all the activities we wanted to do. Definitely recommend 9.5/10

The only thing I would suggest the host to do is please put a blind on the door/window in the living room other then that all good 👍

The actual flat is lovely and the keys were located in an easy to find place once I got to the property. There's a lovely woodland walk along the riverside across a bridge at the back of the property - you just need to cross the pedestrian bridge. The bed is amazing as is the shower room and modern fitted kitchen - I only used the microwave :) Despite lovely accommodation, this flat is not one I'll return to.

1. Main issue for me was the outdoor, metal, spiral staircase access to the flat - not suitable for anyone with mobility issues and my dog also hated it - I had to push him and me up to the room. 2. The main external door to both floors did not lock so I did not feel secure for the whole time I stayed there. I informed the owner, but it remained unfixed for the whole of my stay. I was told to keep trying it - even though I told the owner that the tall stronger male guest upstairs had also been trying to lock it, but couldn't. There is a coded lock to the actual flat's internal door, but the door was just a wooden door. I took my valuables out with me in the day time and pushed the heavy bar stools against the door at night. 3. Access to the property is along a dirt track road with several pot holes - thankfully not dark when I arrived - be wary of your car's undercarriage - mine got well and truly scraped. 4. The parking for three cars only works with cooperation from other guests - my space was in the corner where other cars had allocated spaces in front and alongside me, so basically I was blocked in. Maybe some of the garden space - which was not used other than by the basement flat - could be communal for the 1st and 2nd floor to allow more space for car parking. 5. Neighbours are clearly anti-holiday lets and made that clear through graffiti on their property. I think they've also deliberately placed a large wooden post at the end of their drive to make the in/out drive even tricker. 6. Noisy fridge fan kept clicking on and off through the night - this flat is big enough for a partition wall between the kitchen and sleeping area. 7. Didn't bother me, but be aware that the front of the property faces the A5 so there is some traffic noise.
