Seven Hostel

I chose on location to be near Yonsei U and budget. I did not expect much and had read the reviews. I can see why some would score less than 7, as standards are not great inside and outside room. However, the room was mainly clean, plenty of toilet roll and soap and towels. The electricity worked. The bed sheets though ripped a bit were clean. The bed though very basic gave a godd night of sleep. The sole staff member was very courteous. Don't expect luxury but do expect basic accommodation exactly in line with very low price. Happy to stay here again. The location was perfect for me.

The location is very close to the train station, surrounded by bustling streets, with many places to eat and shop, and the prices are reasonable.

I arrived in winter, and the heater was too small, so it wasn't warm enough.

The location is excellent—very close to everything you might need. The subway station is nearby, and there are also convenient bus stops that connect to other lines. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, and the local nightlife is great if you’re looking for a more relaxed evening compared to the busier scenes in Hongdae or Itaewon. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.

Everything was good.

2nd stay in a week, this time less happy. Asked to move room immediately as sink waste broken so all water went immediately onto the floor. Got a new room the next day. Next room was ok. Was qblecto keep floor half dry by using towels and rolling up to stop water going over the entire floor whilst showering in lukewarm water.

Was delayed returning home by Lufthansa strike. Moved to the most basic Ibis which will be refunded by Lufthansa and after that, I looked back and regretted having chosen this hotel which as 40€ less per night than same Ibis I had originally considered. It really wasn't worth 40€ saved. I could have had such better time had I stayed at tge Ibis or another slightly more expensuve hotel.
