Seven Hostel

The staff was very helpful and kind. They watched over our things while we explored Seoul. The photos on the website were very honest about the room, and the price was fair.

The mosquito net on the window was not attached properly, the room had a constant, low, pulsating buzzing sound emanating from the bathroom, and the white color with the grey room made it kinda feel like a hospital or prison.

I chose on location to be near Yonsei U and budget. I did not expect much and had read the reviews. I can see why some would score less than 7, as standards are not great inside and outside room. However, the room was mainly clean, plenty of toilet roll and soap and towels. The electricity worked. The bed sheets though ripped a bit were clean. The bed though very basic gave a godd night of sleep. The sole staff member was very courteous. Don't expect luxury but do expect basic accommodation exactly in line with very low price. Happy to stay here again. The location was perfect for me.

The location is very close to the train station, surrounded by bustling streets, with many places to eat and shop, and the prices are reasonable.

I arrived in winter, and the heater was too small, so it wasn't warm enough.

The mattress was very uncomfortable. Was sore for the whole next day.
