Paola’s Apartment Near Athens Airport

The accommodation was perfect for us. It was clean and comfortable and It’s located close to the airport and there are places to eat nearby.

Kurzfristig gebucht, super unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe, hatten ein gesamten Apartment inkl. Kaffee und Wasser zur Verfügung.

Die Zusatzbetten (3+4) sind nichts für schlechte Schläfer / Erwachsene (eins sehr weich, eins sehr hart). Für eine Nacht und zwei Teenager war das aber vollkommen ok.

Unkompliziertes check-in und check-out. Sehr sauber. Alle Tücher und Bettwäsche haben sehr frisch gerochen. Es gab sogar einen Obstkorb und eine Küche mit Ausstattung (Herd,Toaster,Kaffeemaschine) und reichlich Wasser in Kühlschrank. Gerne wieder für eine Unterkunft in Flughafennähe. Das Taxi wurde uns auf Anfrage auch organisiert. Sehr netter Gastgeber.

Da wir erst nachts im Dunkeln angekommen sind, wirkte die Lage zunächst etwas beängstigend. Man betritt das Apartment direkt durch die Tür von der Strasse aus, was im ersten Moment ungewohnt war. Die Tür ist aber sicher und am nächsten Morgen sah jedoch alles deutlich freundlicher aus.

Very clean and close to the airoprt

One of the two “bedrooms” on the ground floor opens directly onto the street, essentially, you have the bed right on the street. In this room, one of the two beds wasn’t actually a bed, but a mattress placed directly on the floor. The double bed in the actual bedroom squeaks with every tiny movement, making it impossible to sleep continuously. The walls are poorly soundproofed, and until midnight and beyond, we could hear the owner in the apartment above or next door talking loudly, apparently unconcerned about the guests. A truly terrible night. I strongly advise against staying here, even for just one night, until they address the quality of the sleeping arrangements and ensure that guests can actually get a good night’s sleep.
