Very attentive hosts, lovely big property and great location!

Lovely and large! Very comfortable and we were able to host a big family breakfast which was the highlight of the trip

We needed to wash a few of the plates and cutlery before we used them as we could see residual food left over from a previous tenant

Perfect location just above the beach, warm and cosy apartment, everything you you need.

One thing that let the property down, the drainage in the wet room didn't seem to be adequate resulting in water almost running into the bedroom.

ABSOLUTE GEM NEAR THE SEA

Fantastic location, spotlessly clean, simon texted me to let us know we could check in early for no extra charge. Very comfy bed, plenty of tea and coffee. Very quiet, nice secure outside space..

No instructions for operating the cooker. Some of the towels left for use in the rooms felt damp on arrival.

Great location, convenient for beach and shops. Liked the bedroom downstairs and living area upstairs, comfortable bed and cottage had everything we needed. Location made the cottage quiet and private, was very cosy.

Central, clean and cosy cottage.

Lovely, extremely central location on the beach front. Clean and welcoming property with the basic amenities provided (which is extremely helpful for a short stay!). The host was professional and offered us an early check in when the property was ready with no extra charge. I would definitely recommend staying in this cosy cottage.

A little sand on the floor when we first arrived, must I imagine it is hard to keep clean!

The location was ideal- beach only a short walk away, plenty of things to do in area, parking is a bit of an issue. Would be better if permits could be provided or could park outside property.

That it had cooking facilities and 2 bedroom/2bathroom. Good communication from owners- finding keys and check in/out times. However the floors was black (as I didn’t wear shoes and my feet looked like I’d done a trek outside) the sofas needs a deep clean as there is dog hair all down the sides and underneath cushions. And mattresses/pillows need replacing. Mattress really hard and pillows are way too thin. Also every surface was sticky from whatever product the cleaner is using to clean (dining table, coffee table, bedroom furniture)

Well-equipped and beautifully-designed cottage.

We had a 2-night short break in Groveside's 2-bedroom cottage- a delightful conversion, with bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor and lounge/kitchen on the 1st floor. The bed was comfortable, and the cottage as a whole was very well-equipped and beautifully designed. Conveniently situated for access to Saltburn's amenities,and for a stroll along the sea-front.

Excellent apartment, great location. Everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Spotlessly clean and well equipped.

Personal preference for a shower cubicle rather than a wet room set up, but that's minor and didn't affect the trip as I enjoyed a bath!

Cannot fault the accommodation at all it was very special will go back but maybe during the week

Absolutely everything , we really enjoyed this stay here , there was everything you need ,even for the dog even doggy treats

The parking , but we did know there was no parking on site , but all along the seafront was motor homes which made it impossible to park ,and they did not move all weekend ,

Needs a good clean throughout

How close to the seafront the property is.

The property was not very clean for example, dining table sticky, floors and skirting not very clean and TV also. Towels provided were ok before showering then they smelled of dampness, maybe provide new towels that are conditioned for guests. Also the mop provided in the ensuite to clean up excess water was full of hairs so did not use it.

Nice and relaxing.

The property was in a great location, right near the sea front. It was lovely and clean with a nice big sitting area.

The 2nd bedroom was very poky, albeit en suite - it was possibly OK for one at a push, but definitely not for two. The main bedroom was sunny and spacious but would have benefited from a shower - there seemed to be a shower fitting near the bath taps but no attachment which would have been really handy.

We had a wonderful few days and would definitely stay here again!

Lovely and very spacious, the lounge is huge, as is the other bedroom. Really well designed and has everything you could need. The location is absolutely superb, you can see the sea from the bay window in the living room and it’s a very short walk into the town centre.

Very tasteful but could benefit from an extra lamp or two in the living room, only because I’m not a fan of the ‘big light’ so don’t turn them on, ambient lighting is my personal preference.

Great location, very comfortable , secure , well planned accomodation with everything and more needed for a restful stay. Excellent value for money , owner gave swift advice if needed , keys , check in /out very easy making it a chilled , enjoyable break.

Beautiful location, lovely hosts, comfortable stay

Arrived a little early so we could have a walk about and some lunch before check in. Parking was on the road at the end of the driveway. It's free, but if you're travelling at weekend - it can get extremely busy. We arrived on a Thursday so it was no problem but by the time we were leaving on the Saturday, there was literally no space along the whole road - so you'd probably need to use a side street. The apartment is lovely and spacious. The smaller bedroom has an en-suite shower room however there was only 2 of us (and the dog) so we used the larger bedroom and the main bathroom, which didn't have a shower, but a lovely roll top bath. The lounge is large and bright with a dining table within. It's a lovely airy space. The location is superb. The coast is literally at the end of the drive, there are steps (quite a few!) down to the beach or a couple of minutes walk up the road is the funicular that for a whole £2 will take you up or down between the top and bottom. The beach is huge and, I have to say, we were impressed with the dog owners who all seemed to be very well behaved (as were their dogs). There are a few pubs and takeaways close by and the centre of the the town is literally a 5 minute walk away. Overnight it was extremely quiet. The hosts were lovely, they even messaged on the day to say that the apartment was ready early if we wanted to check it. They also left a pint of milk in the fridge, which was a nice touch. All in all, it's certainly one to be recommended.

Well this is being picky as actually there is very little to complain about. I would have liked bigger pillows as they were a little flat and would have been nice to have a TV in the bedroom as we do like to chill out in there before going to sleep. As I say though, that's being picky!
