Lovely views from lodge. Clean, warm and comfortabke, pleasantly decorated and it was well equipped. Two minute walk to a regular bus service to nearby villages, including pretty Cawsand.

The track from the lodge to check in was steep and for us, in our 70s, it was difficult getting luggage up and down, even with a trolley. However on leaving we got round this by parking on the bottom of the road, Donkey Lane, adjacent to the lodge. Younger people might not find this a problem.
