Really clean and very spacious

The lodge it's self was amazing, lovely and cosy.

When I rang we were told we could park outside the lodge to unload and then park in the main carpark. We arrived Christmas Eve late evening around 8.30pm with our elderly nan, we drove around and around for half hour so and we still couldn't find or work out how to drive outside of the lodge? We asked in the onsite pub, no help whatsoever, tried ringing the help line on the website no answer, I guess that may of been because the time of year. Me and my partner eventually found on foot I must add where our lodge was, it was about 200 yards on a steep uneven ground from the main carpark. You couldn't drive to it, there were trolleys at the main carpark where you had to unload all your stuff into and haul it all the way to the lodge. Not ideal. When I asked on the phone on the day we were going I quite clearly asked if we could park outside to unload as we had my elderly nan with us. The lady said "yes of course" It doesn't say anywhere on there website that we had to unload our stuff into a trolley and haul it on foot 200 yards or so to our lodge.
