About this cottage rental
The ground floor of this characterful hideaway offers two charming lounges with whitewashed stonework. The first lounge overlooks the street, with the second featuring a welcoming wood burner (wood is not supplied, guests can purchase locally) and a Smart TV. The ground floor also has an elegant dining room, with a step up leading into the traditional, sympathetically updated and fully equipped kitchen, which retains the original, but sadly no longer in use, village bread oven. There is also a useful WC on this floor. Stairs from the lounge go up to the first floor, where you will find the large and invigorating family bathroom with an oval-shaped bathtub and separate shower. The first floor also offers two cosy bedrooms: a double and a triple, the latter has a small balcony beyond the French windows. Guests will enjoy the stylish cinema room with ample seating and a large wall-mounted TV; from here an open tread spiral staircase heads up to a bright and airy single bedroom. On the second floor, there’s a large double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, plus another single room/study with French windows.
From the smaller bedroom, three steps lead out onto the enclosed and decked roof terrace. With plenty of garden furniture, this delightful spot is perfect for a morning coffee or a drink in the evenings. Parking can be found in the nearby public car park.
