We really enjoyed this superb flat. It was spacious, comfortable, well equipped and very clean. And, located close to the highway, we could quickly be on the road to the various places we wanted to visit, notably Alberobello, Martina Franca and Ostuni. An unexpected plus was finding a large supermarket right next door where we could buy fresh bakery and fruit for breakfast on the large terrace ... in time to view the sunrise, if you're an early riser. 🙂

It was a little further from the "centro storico" of Monopoli than we had anticipated. Parking in or close to the town centre was difficult to find, so we walked (20 minutes) for dinner at one of the many excellent restaurants ... but the exercise helped work up an appetite. 😅

Locations is great. All kitchen appliances-basics-are available to make breakfast lunch even dinner if needed.

Check-in We waited on the street almost 1hr to be able to check in due to “another last minute check-in” Airco Airco was not working - after a lot of messages back and forth we were told someone would come to fix it. We asked to let us know 30mins in advance of his arrival so we could let him in (we felt more comfortable so). So we rescheduled our itinerary to accompany for this. No communication whatsoever from the host. Just that the technician let himself in with the spare key. We felt was an invitation to our privacy not to say that we had to reschedule our itinerary. Toiletries & hospitality’s We stayed 10 days we got only 2 tabs for the dishwasher. 3 bags for the trash which requires meticulous separation in 5 categories. 2 towels and no spare bed sheets. For a long stay I would expect at minimum spare towels/ bedsheets and enough trash bags to be able to separate and take out the trash. After this trip we will go back to book hotels. The moment apartment rentals became more expensive than hotels while expecting guests to: • Take out the trash • Wash dishes • Start laundry • Clean up the property • Pay cleaning fees We start looking elsewhere. We don’t mind paying premium prices. I do mind paying premium prices and still doing all the work. Cherry of the cake the neighbours balcony has a camera overlooking to the rental apartment. Very uncomfortable not to say personal privacy violation.
