Haven Hut Hotel

Location was good. Just a few minutes away form café apartments and other attractions

Had an awesome time visiting Vietnam, I recommend this hotel for travelers that loves to save money and still get a convenient hotel location.

Near all the places that you need to go in HCM, very accommodating staffs (the guard helped us with our luggages which is a +++) Our room was cleaned every night. They even offer umbrellas especially when it rains.

I booked 1 room for 3 pax but there is no option for additional bed in here so i am planning to just pay the extra person when we checked in and add the extra bed so when we checked in we were asked to pay *** for the 3rd person so we did pay expecting that there will be an extra bed as they were informed that we are 3 pax so when we arrive in the room i was expecting to see a extra bed set up. The receptionist helped with the luggage so when they went up i asked where is the extra bed and she said that the hotel is designed for couple only so i asked what is the purpose of the additional pymnt as there are only 2 sets of everything. She said they will give us extra 1 pillow,blanket and towel and everything but they only gave 1 pillow and towel so we had to call again for another blanket and slippers and water but the blanket was the only thing that came so we just slept with it the next day we asked for bottle water they only gave 2 so the next day which is our check out date my mom asked for the extra 1 bottle water because they only gave two yesterday so they owe as one bottle water upon checking out the receptionist was talking to my mom to pay for the 2 bottle water so my mom was explaining to her that we dont have to pay for it as they only gave us 2 bottle water for our second day but the receptionist can not understand the point and she shouted at my mother even saying that she will call the police as my mom was asking for the manager because the receptionist can not understand a simple explanation the thing is she have no right to shout at a customer especially she is working in a hospitality industry and we were okay with paying but the thing is that water bottle should be included in the *** additional pymnt. I’ve been booking in agoda for so long and i’ve been to many hotels and when the hotel asked for additional pymnt for additional person it always include an extra bed and 1 set of every essentials including the water bottle as that is what the pymnt is for. That is the things that the receptionist CANNOT UNDERSTAND so we paid an additional pymnt for an additional pax without a extra bed set up and just a pillow,blanket and towel for the additional person and was even asked to pay for the water bottle that should be included in the additional pymnt already. Overall the hotel was clean and the guard was really helpful and nice. It’s just the receptionist that ruined the experience should have more training especially in a hotel industry receptionist should have good attitude and respectful.
