The Great Airport Hotel & Restaurant

I've been staying in this hotel in 2025 for a night, this review is for my parents who stayed 2026 for night between flights. I was worried since my parents are old and dont speak good english, yet the staff were in contact with me all the time, notified me when parents were picked up and dropped off during transfer, allowed me to pay for their dinner despite me being in greece that time. Emir was very helpful. Thank you very much.

Breakfast was well balanced, location near the airport which was useful. Staff was very helpful, specially Emir Yasin on the reception who was there for the whole group all the time solving every problem in real time. great job.

price of the dinner in the restaurant should be lower as it overcomes the prices in the nearby traditional restaurants

This hotel is a rare example of an honest and genuinely customer-oriented business in today’s overcrowded and touristy Istanbul. We stayed as a family of four for one night, and everything was handled exceptionally well. The hotel arranged an excellent airport transfer both to and from the airport for good price (so you do not need to deal with taxi drivers) and we were provided with two comfortable rooms first time and one big room our second stay. The hotel has a great location on a hill, just about 20 minutes from the airport. The spectacular view of the magnificent mosque right across the street was a wonderful bonus, as was the excellent very local, reasonably priced, restaurant just a three-minute walk from the hotel. 27/7!!!! - huge advantage for travelers! We have stayed overnight in Istanbul many times before, and unfortunately, we have often encountered misleading practices or unexpected charges incl taxi. This time, however, we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service, transparent and fair prices, and the overall feeling that the staff genuinely cared about their guests. Price was fair and also included breakfast (not huge but tasty and healthy :) A special thank you to Emir, who helped us with the airport transfers and kindly arranged an early breakfast for us. And thank you to the entire hotel team for making our short stay so comfortable and stress-free. Thank you for running a honest business and treating your guests with respect. It is truly appreciated!

Nothing

Close to a nice mosque and not far from the Airport. Fair for a short transfer stopover.

Mattresses too soft. Right under the flight path.
