the fire was great, its a quiet area in town, no through path so very quiet, perfect for couples, small outside, but it is a town house.

steep walk down and narrow with a car to unload, but easily manageable, wherever you are in Richmond is the same as it is on a hill.

Cute, quirky, great location. Andreas was very good at responding to messages. He also provided a lovely complimentary bottle of bubbles. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Great location for Richmond Castle, the market square and the waterfalls / Easyby Abbey loop (although the hill is a very steep climb)!

Maybe an update of some paintwork and windows - difficult one / very subjective - the property is very old (late 1700s) so it’s a difficult balancing act to get right!

Wonderfull relaxing time staying at this beautiful cottage situated in lovely Richmond. Excellent central location within walking distance of the market square. The cottage was spotlessly clean and Andreas had equipped the cottage with everything you could possibly need including a welcome pack. Loved the evenings with the fairy lights and log fire too. Most places in Richmond are dog friendly but would recommend bakers in the market place, Rustique French cuisine and the pie shop. Lots of lovely walks around Richmond and local woods for dog walks too. Ideal location to explore all the delights of Yorkshire. Highly recommend a trip to Knaresborough, Ripon, and also English Heritage Mount Grace in Northalloton, National Trust Fountain’s Abbey was absolutely beautiful and there are so many other great properties to visit too. Really looking forward to returning in the future.
