Sunset House Ceningan, 10 person beachview private villa

We spent 3 nights here for my hens weekend and it was absolutely perfect! The rooms are comfortable and the venue is gorgeous, really close to lots of little restaurants and shops. It is right on the main road so at first it feels a bit exposed seeing people walk past but you get used to it very quickly and isn’t an issue at all! The staff are friendly and happy to help if you ask. We had a great time here :)

We werden opgehaald bij Yellow Bridge. En in de villa ontvangen met een koude juice. De villa en tuin is precies zoals op de foto’s en nog beter zelfs. We wilden niet meer weg. Het beste uitzicht, elke avond de zon onder zien gaan. Je kunt de rolgordijnen laten zakken voor privacy, maar dat hebben we niet gedaan want het is te mooi. Elke dag mooie offer mandjes en schoonmaak. Ze regelden een scooter die zelfs bij de villa voor ons werd afgezet. De beste ontbijtjes direct naast de villa en dit kwamen ze zelfs brengen. In de straat veel leuke hippe restaurantjes met geweldig uitzicht. Een goede warung ook in de straat en een mini supermarkt. Absoluut de beste accomodaties die we tot nu toe in Bali hebben gehad.

Een paar keer was de muziek van het gebed heel erg hard en best lang te horen. Hier kan de accomodaties niets aan doen natuurlijk. We hebben gelukkig geen last gehad van de bouwplaats direct naast de villa.

The open living space was stunning and had a beautiful view. The location was very nice and peaceful and the staff were very friendly and attentive!

There were a couple things that needed maintenance - mainly one of the bungalows smelt of mold or mildew and one of the pool lights had an exposed wire.

Location is good. Walking distance to restaurants and easy access to yellow bridge. The rooms are cute. The pool is lovely. The view is what sets this place apart. Staff are lovely and very helpful. They owner communicated well and was responsive, arranging a lovely birthday cake for us, island tour etc.

Towels and bedding need replacing, towels particularly were very stained. Security could be much better, the front door lock to the villa is very flimsy, the wall could be scaled and we even had a couple who wandered in to ask if they could have a ‘beer at the pool’ they thought it was a hotel!! Occasional power cuts on the island aren’t the fault of the owner but the villa could have been much better prepared with candles for us to use. Thankfully they went out and got us some so this really helped. Given the money we paid, we expected a backup generator would’ve been in place as you not only don’t have electricity, the water (sink, toilet, showers) doesn’t work in a power cut either.
