The location was not suitable for us, unless you hire a scooter, it is VERY expansive to stay there, too far or steep to walk the hill, 20A$ each way, the place need to be better maintained, broken long chair in villa, broken electrical switch in villa, pool water was cloudy on 1st day, tiles around pool need cleaning (black dirt). Food was mediocre, very plain, but chicken burger was fine, breakfast coffee was good but breakfast food was limited and not every item available, the linen sheet were not very cleaned and has yellow marking on 3 spots. The staff was very friendly and smiling, but limited English Before I forget! Signage, they tell you that Google got it wrong! Well the signage is very bad, the paint from the posted sign was washed away making hard to read, sign were wrongly positioned (the last one on wrong side) and one is under so much weed that you can hardly see it, and when you arrive at the place, there are no sign which tell you that you are at Jungle Paradise, you need to get out of the taxi and walk to reception and ask if you are at the right place, a welcome sign would have been great. Unfortunately or fortunately, we only stay 3 nights instead of 5 and another accomodation for the 2 other nights

The highlight of our bali trip!

Beautiful place, quiet location in the middle of the forest, we rented a scooter and it was easy and short way to the beach and restaurants. The staff are out of this world, they are so helpful. The breakfasts are wonderful!

Great little jungle stay!

Very friendly helpful hosts and staff! They sorted out everything we needed and made our stay on Nusa Penida very easy! The room also has everything you need and you can see that they have payed attention to detail when setting up the space as somewhere functional and comfortable for you to stay.

There isn't really anything we didn't like to be honest. The location is a little separate from the sort of main hub area of Nusa Penida, but that wasn't a problem for us. You also need a scooter to get anywhere, but that would be the same story anywhere you stayed on the island. And Jungle Paradise were able to sort one out for us not long after we arrived so there were no issues around that either!

Difficult Rocky road access to the property, especially when you are on a scooter. The address of the property on the the Google map does not correspond to the actual position which makes it difficult to find if you book a taxi to /from the property. What could be improved: We stayed 7 nights, with the cleaning done daily but not the towels unfortunately.

Perfect stay in Nusa Penida

Nice and quiet location, but close enough to the beach and it’s easy to get around the island. Tony, the owner, together with all the staff made the stay perfect. He helps out with everything and arranges what you need for a fun and comfortable stay.

Superb

The Jungle Paradise is very nice and quiet place in the middle of the nature. Very close to the port and couple of restaurants.The beach is 5min away by motorbike Scooter is definetly need it because it is quiet far to walk somewhere. Tony organized everything what we need it. He made our stay stress free and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean, amazing open bathroom. Highly recommended for the people who likes the nature.

The place was quiet difficult to find, since the google map is showing wrong location. We got lost during the night. I definitely recommend to remember the location of the place ;)

Superb

Family hotel in the middle of the jungle. The room was big and the outdoor bathroom amazing. The heated pool was perfect to take a swim while watching the stars. The road to the hotel was hard to find the first day but once you know the place it's ok ! Thanks to Michael, Tony and his family for the hospitality, the stay was perfect ;) Kind regards, Iris & Mael

Everything is very nice at this hotel but the location makes to drive a bike/scooter compulsory as it is very far from main road. Facilities (pool) are amazing and so are the lodges with beautiful open air bathroom and shower.

Very bad location. Motorbike needed. Very limited options for breakfast. Coffee also not very good. The person in charge of the hotel not very helpful.

if you want a full-service hotel, you‘re at the right place. everything is perfect here, they organize everything for you, may it be snorkeling trips, scooter rental (scooter will be transported to the hotel so you don‘t need to pick it up elsewhere) or transfer. Best place to stay at Nusa Penida by far.

Nice place

This place is in nature and we liked that. Quiet at night. Bed is very comfortable. Staff organized the transfer from and to harbor for us. Breakfast was tasty.

Pool works only till 9 pm which wasn’t the case in our other Bali accommodations. Since we are out and exploring all day it would really mean a lot to be able to relax in the pool after dinner. Their motor bike rental for a big motor bike is almost as twice as price than in other places so we rented someplace else.

Exceptional

We loved absolutely everything about this beautiful place, the family who run Jungle paradise are like no other. Tony and Micheal are a wonderful pair of business partners. The pool is a gorgeous lagoon colour perfect for the setting. The stunning rooms have everything you need and the luxurious baths are an added, very welcomed bonus! We never had a bad meal, everything was delicious! Tony and Michael were incredibly accommodating and there was nothing they would do or try to achieve if desired. We loved it so much this is where we got engaged, left for two days and could think of nothing else but returning to extend our stay longer, we loved it that much! If jungle experience is what your looking for, then look no further, this is the perfectly spot! A fabulous, family run business! It was great to see many friends and family involved in so much of it, from Tony's wife cooking the beautiful food, his sons and friends running the excursions(which are just incredible) , and his daughters and family friends servising the rooms etc. Don't forget to ask Michael about his special trip! It's one to remember! Thank you Tony and Michael for an unforgettable trip, we will most definitely be back!

Great and quiet place to stay

The place is really nice and quiet, It is in the middle of the jungle so you probably would need to use a scooter or taxi service to go everywhere, they offer scooter service for 100 per day. The room was clean and their service is perfect

Amazing location but all the rest was TERRIBLE

Beautiful location, the problem was the rest….

We lived a nightmare for 4 nights, every night we were awakened by one or more mouses in our room that entered from several holes. we asked the hotel staff for 3 times to change room or to solve the problem. the hotel’s owner told us that we were dreaming… The only thing he did was put the spray in the holes but it was completely useless.. Taking into account this big problem, the price was too high (almost 70 € per night). Moreover, the breakfast didn’t offer many choices and there wasn’t water in our room so we asked personal staff it and we had to pay it as extra. SINCERELY WE WILL NEVER RETURN HERE

Unwelcome place with bad owner behavior toward guests. I booked Jungle Paradise and got Jungle Hell

I had horrible experience with the owner of the place. Our stay in the hotel was disastrous. I was expecting Jungle “Paradise” but I got Jungle “Nightmare”

Unwelcome and unfriendly owner. We had very horrific experience. The property is middle of jungle, hard to access and get transportation from the hotel. Owner canceled our taxi booking last minute, told us to walk from the property to main road because we pissed him off ...We walked 30 minutes under the sun because the owner doesn’t like our feedbacks and comments on the first day. So much issues during the stay that I have to file an official complain with booking.com 2nd day : they did not clean and made our room… On the day of check out even the owner treated us with his network to bullet us if we gave him bad review. Please go head and do, It will proof that my review is accurate. The room is ok / location very bad

Great place, I would come again if I come to Nusa Penida again.

I liked mostly everything. The bungalow is very spacious, outside bathroom is really great, the bathtub in the bigger bungalow is so big, comfy and beautiful. The location is very quiet and the only sound you ever hear will be nature sounds (rooster, birds, gecko). Staff is very friendly. La Tony an his family are so kind and helpful, so you will feel very welcomed and they will try to deal with any kind of problems you have. One night a gecko came into our room because we left the toilet door opened and we called the owner, he took it out immediately, so don't hesitate to call him when you have trouble, he will surely help you. Breakfast is delicious and dinner even better. Also dinner is not expensive (around $4 per meal) which is quite affordable. WIFI can be slow or not reachable sometimes, but overall it's OK. Location is a bit off, but so is whole Nusa Penida I guess, because the tourist locations are not next to each other so everywhere you go, you need like 30-45 minutes with scooter. Pool is amazing, very clean and deep.

There is a lot of small centipede (every day saw like 4-5 of them), but they are harmless and just throw them away. WIFI speed could be better, but it's a remote island so what can you expect.

Sensational stay!

Tony and his family was very warm and welcoming in their new and very luxurius small resort with only 7 units. The staff was super friendly and helpful :-) Very clean room and amazing exordinary outdoor bathroom with a rain shower and many plants. Nature pure :-) The Aircondition was very silent and effective. There was a refrigerator in the room and a writing desk. Perfect for me to work in a cool room. On top there was a free water refill stand at the reception. No plastic! A very good concept to safe our planet! The bungalow was very quiet and peaceful. Only the birds you can hear. It was stylish and functional. Two closets! One only for the suitcases and a very big one for the clothes. So a very long stay is very comfortable. I have to leave after one night because I have to work in another place in Indonesia. That makes me a little bit sad but I will come again next year and stay minimum a week. For sure! The food In their restaurant was very nice. I have tried the banana pancakes in the morning and it was very delicious. The resort is very well located although its in the middle of the jungle. But its less minutes from the main road by using the motorbike. You can rent it in the resort. The pool is also very clean and amazing! Many thanks to Tony, his family and all of the staff for the kindness and helpfulness and for the good tips for my one day trip. See you again next year :-)

Jungle oasis on Nusa Penida

Very comfortable bungalows with an awesome outdoor bathroom. Well maintained garden and pool area. The breakfast was delicious (go for the banana pancakes) and Tony and his family were so helpful and great!

Superb

We had the entire place to ourselves! The rooms were pretty big, nice outdoor bathroom, and the pool was nice to cool off in after a day of scooter all around the island. A/C could have been a bit stronger, but decent overall. Beware, you are in the MIDDLE of the jungle, there will be lots of bugs, we didn't mind tho. Wifi was pretty decent. Good overall value!

Dreamlike stay in pure nature!

Jungle Paradise is a family business run with love. You can feel this in every detail. Due to the pandemic, the resort was closed for over 2 years and I was one of the first guests. Therefore, I was allowed to look at other bungalows and each bathroom was individually designed. I was totally thrilled! Unfortunately, I didn't see much of Nusa Penida due to time constraints, but coming here now is great. There are almost no tourists. Dreamlike! Even at the most visited hotspot, Kelingking Beach, I was almost alone. Thank you for the breathtaking tour, dear Tony! That's why I will definitely come back this year in autumn for a few weeks and then spend at least 10 days in Jungle paradise. There is still so much to discover on the island... :-) Many thanks for your kindness and helpfulness to the whole Jungle Paradise crew!

Relaxing break

This was a welcome relaxing 2 day stay after a busy week in Bali and surrounding islands. A perfect way to end our holiday. Just what we needed. Tony and his team are a great asset to this place. Toni took us to a few places around the island... places we wouldn't necessarily have visited but so glad we did. He is a wealth of knowledge. Whatever you need/want whether it's hiring scooters, trips, activities etc. Toni will sort it. The lodges and gardens are stunning. Lodges set around pool which is beautifully clean. Looks great at night when it's all lit up. Comfortable clean loungers and parasols for relaxing by the pool. The lodge has plenty of towels, lots of storage and complete blackout drapes. There is also a mini bar, tea and coffee. Everything is super clean. There's a small terrace off each of the lodges with chairs and a table. Breakfast is simple but good. There is a choice. We ate evening meals on both nights. The food was great. Chose from a menu first night. On the second night, the chef cooked us a three course meal which again was fresh and tasty. I would absolutely recommend Jungle Paradise.
