Marilea Bamboo Villas Concept , Private pool, seaview, Adults only

Before we arrived at this hotel I received a text that said ‘here you’re friends more than guests’ - that was an understatement. I cried leaving this hotel! It was the absolute perfect stay. The staff are SO friendly and helpful with everything from breakfast orders to organising trips. They helped with our transfers from mainland Bali to Nusa Penida, as well as organising a private boat to swim with manta rays and a private all-day tour of the island - nothing was too much trouble. I didn’t believe the villa would be as beautiful as it was in the pictures but in fact, it’s even more beautiful in real life. It feels like a green screen - the view is just exceptional and the villa itself was so thoughtfully designed with everything you could possibly need. The A/C was powerful, the pool was clean and warm, the bed was comfortable, and the villa was so spacious with so many different seating arrangements. We were worried about bugs/mosquitos before arriving, as the villa is so open - but to our surprise this really wasn’t a problem. The villa was equipped with sprays but we barely had to use them, which was a pleasant surprise. Despite being so remote, the mini fridge was always fully stocked and it was so easy to get food delivered to our beautiful villa (again, with the help of the incredible staff). I genuinely could not recommend this hotel enough. Staying here is the best decision you will ever make!

Difficult to reach but the staff is doing their best to pick you up and make the journey as comfortable as possible

We stayed for 3 nights in the impressive Bamboo cottages, and had an amazing stay. The reception was warm and welcoming , they helped us with everything we needed. The entire villa was very clean , with the best possible view. Every morning they bring a lovely à la carte breakfast. The owner ( who we met at the property) has built a welcoming home with a relaxed atmosphere. I hope I can stay here again on my next visit to Nusa Penida 10/10

Just Wow! We have been too some hotels in the past but Marilea just set the standard a lot higher. The villa was stunning and the views were breathtaking. Everything was organised so good and the staff helped us with everything. Komang and the rest of team were so friendly and were standing always ready to assist you in everything. We stayed there 5 nights and before coming we were affraid that it would be too long but we could have stayed forever! By far the most beautifull place we ever stayed!
