Great location for visiting the town (we went for the anual pirate festival). Dining on the rooftop patio looking over the harbour was a highlight of our stay. It was a good size for the six of us, and we all enjoyed ourselves enormously. As long as you can cope with the stairs, the house feels wonderfully authentic for the historic town.
The house had been decorated to a high standard, but the maintenance could be better. A sink was clogged, another cracked, and one shower door needed adjustment. The kitchen lacked equipment for people who want cook some of their meals in the house - there was no saucepan or frying pan large enough when cooking for six adults.
