Broadacre House

Really clean, playroom for the kids and even put a Christmas tree up for us! The house was a great size and lovely and warm, plus the location was great. We’d definitely stay again.

. The house is very spacious with with lovely furnishings and everything we needed. Large comfy bedrooms and a nice garden with additional amenities in the garage. Fairly easy to find and park up, with the key safe avaiable, with code included in a message from the hosts. The kids loved the play room which meant we could enjoy the living room to ourselves. Big kitchen diner with usual bits plus dishwasher, freezer, washer and dryer which makes it a lot easier for a large family. Co-op just around the corner for food and drink. It is close to main street and harbour at the bottom of the hill.

Parking is tight for two cars on the drive, but space on the road as well. The neighbour did kindly ask us to leave her enough space to access down the side of her wall so we just kept to one car on the drive. Rooms upstairs can get a bit warm on hot days but can manage with a cross breeze opening the windows. A couple of fans might help in the summer. Although it's close to the town, it is very steep to take walk the most direct routes. We did it once and after that we drove down and paid to park.
