Merta Ubud Homestay

Great location with great view on an ricefielf. Well oriented for morning sunbathing and no direct sunlight for the rest of the day. Great homestay also.

Ocasional smoke coming from nearby burning, but that is just bali thing I guess.

The Place It is exactly like in the photos, much bigger than it shows and the kitchen it's separate from the bedroom which is good for odors/ ants. The view is so peaceful and calming both from the bedroom and the kitchen and there's always a nice wind so it doesn't get hot . I loved that there's a sofa to relax. There's a lot of mosquitoes and they provide spray for it, which was appreciated. The kitchen is fully equipped, new design and also very good cutlery, nothing was missing. Ac works well bathroom has shampoo and bathgel. Overall was a very good apartment and I would definitely recommend and come back. The owners live downstairs and they are always available on WhatsApp with fast replies. They are polite and respectful of your privacy while still checking on you, I forgot my charger and they contacted me to help me retrieve it.

The pillows of the bedrooms are really uncomfortable to sleep, they are incredibly high and I ended up not using them after neck pain in the morning. Not a negative thing but worth to mention that it's not an homestay, just an apartment. I personally wanted my own space and privacy so for me wasn't a problem, however if you are looking to a living with locals experience it's not it as they are more introverted.

Everything! I was expecting a room with the view of ricefield as shown on the pictures, but what I actually got: ofc the room as well as a private dining room facing the ricefield, a bathroom that is too spacious for 1/2 people, too good to be true. Walking distance to many nice restaurants, gyms, convenience shops. The owner was very nice, making sure I was comfortable with everything. Highly recommended!!

Nothing! maybe the sign to the entrance is a bit vague, had to ask the owner of the warung for direction.

Хозяйка: дочка и еще мама помогают очень заботливые: вовремя приносят завтрак, всегда чисто, угощают домашним пирогом, если нужна помощь: готовы в любой момент поехать с вами и помочь. В целом за счет такой поддержки чувствуешь себя очень спокойно. Красивая и удобная терраса: на которой вечерами можно слушать звуки природы, интернет - отдельно выделенный роутер только на вас, что очень удобно, кухня и комната, все чисто, уборка регулярная. Невероятно гостеприимные, теплые, заботливые хозяева, которые точно услышат вашу просьбу и не оставят без поддержки.
