From messaging me for my arrival time, to letting me know my breakfast is ready ( exactly when I requested it) Maika Safari has been perfect. Such a lovely family run location.
The rooms are cool, bathrooms big, towels fluffy and the whole place from pool to gardens are so beautifully kept.
Safaris are booked, Elephant Transit centre a short tuk tuk or walk away.
The WiFi is Fabulous here so I was able to grab a rest after too much surfing AND catch up on admin.

Great pool view room with silankan breakfast.Specialy not spicy.And we had a great safari tour with maika.Its a greatest experience ever.

Very good value for the price, I arrive early in the morning (way before check in time so I would be able to do a safari) and they promptly prepared my room!
It’s amazing that you can just rock up and book a safari on the spot, it made my experience seamless. There are some good restaurants and cafes near by for dinner.
The free breakfast included in the price was an excellent local selection.
The host went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay. I am very appreciative of Kavindu who speaks excellent English and is extremely kind and helpful.
They can sort you out with transfers to wherever you need to go or kindly drop you off at the bus station if you choose the local transport option!

Convenient to Udawalawa safari, & restaurants. Nice pol to cool off in. Comfortable bed.
