S and D Home Stay

Très grand logement. Nous avons séjourné deux nuits avec nos deux enfants de 16 et 20 ans en ayant réservé deux chambres et ils nous attribué trois chambres avec les 2 salles de bains. Kitchenette dans la partie principale. Le propriétaire nous a trouvé un chauffeur pour nous déplacer dans la région. Le petit déjeuner servi dans leur salle à manger était excellent.

Pas d’eau chaude dans une des salle de bain.

This is in a top floor of a house (separate entrance) and the owners are nice people. Room is clean. Just a few kilometers to Nuwara Eliya town and always you can take a Ride hailing app to get a tuk tuk. Breakfast is simple and nice. Totally worth for the money.

De familie is echt super gastvrij en vriendelijk, we hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad bij S and D Home Stay! We hebben ook een keer in de avond curry&rice gegeten bij de host en dat was heerlijk 🤗. De locatie is op loopafstand van de Lovers Leap waterval en er zijn voldoende winkels in de buurt voor basis boodschappen. Voor het centrum van Nuwara Eliya moet je een stukje met de tuktuk.

De keuken mist de basics om functioneel te kunnen zijn. Een kleine koelkast, servies en bestek zou zeer welkom zijn.

A place run by a lovely family - has a beautiful view from the terrace, a huge and clean room and good food! 😊 The owner, Danushka is a very kind man. I arrived a bit late because of a little unexpected detour and it was raining hard but their warm welcome made me feel at home in an instant. I had a delicious dinner at their lovely home. Such a peaceful place to be!! Everything is really good, I wish I could have stayed longer 🥹 Also special mention to their tuktuk driver Darsha, lovely guy! He picked me up from a cafe 30mins away because I had to hop off the bus for a meeting at work and he was so patient and kind to wait for me. I highly recommend his services when you want to go around Nuwaraya Eliya :) this homestay is truly a gem — all the best to you! Thank you for the warm welcome 💗
