Cindrella Sky Nest Camp Ella

I had such an amazing stay here! It’s a simple, peaceful, and very homey campsite, with a beautiful mountain view and a lovely garden. Staying overnight in a tent was such a unique experience, and I was lucky enough to enjoy a beautiful sunset from the property. You can even see the trains passing by, which adds a really nice touch to the experience. The hospitality was honestly one of my favorite parts. Pamod (young boy) was incredibly kind and helpful, he assisted me from Ella Station, guided me to the campsite, and even helped me get to the pickup point when I was leaving. The family was so welcoming, and I really appreciated the watermelon welcome drink! They also have lovely dogs, good food, laundry facilities, and everything you need for a comfortable stay.

since this is staying in a tent, you can hear quite a lot of outside noise, especially the dogs barking from further down the mountain at night. I’d recommend bringing earbuds if you’re a light sleeper.

De plek is gelegen net buiten het drukke centrum maar via het spoor ben je er zo. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze geven tips voor wat je kan doen en ze hielpen ons met het vinden van de Juiste bussen. Daarnaast kan je er ook erg goed eten! De tent onder een betonnen bouwerk straalt niet direct luxe uit maar als je het uitzicht vanuit je tent ziet voel je je meteen de koning!

Omdat je in een tent slaapt kan je de honden horen huilen in de nacht. Maar met slaap Oortjes in hoor je daar niks meer van.

Amazing location, all facilities were gorgeous with beautiful attention to details, staff were all lovely and we were very well taken care off!

For me it was perfect. I was looking for something a bit more remote in nature and therefore this place is perfect. The staff is also so helpful. They helped me carrying up my things, organized good tea and spice for me and one of the owners even joined me for the early morning hike to Adam’s peek to make me feel safe. He just accompanied me till the start if the trail. The breakfast was always good with an amazing view. The tent was super comfy and I didn’t freeze at all but I’m also not a person who freezes easily. The tents are also safe from rain and it can get very cozy watching the rain and lightning from the tent. The location is a ten minute walk away from the lively town. You can just use the train tracks. Aldo from here I started my way to Ella’s rock. It took me back and forth 5 hours (including spending some time on the mountain). Thanks a lot, I had an amazing stay!
