Coole Ausstattung, liebevolle Gestaltung. Freundlicher Gastgeber. Frühstück auch sehr gut.

Leider hatten wir in unserem Zimmer einen starken unangenehmen lackartigen Geruch. Hatten dadurch Halsschmerzen und konnten nicht gut atmen

This is a very cute cabana with a lovely mountain view. The hosts were very kind and informative. You can hike easily to Lover's Leap waterfall.

The heavy blankets are smelly. It must be hard to dry things in such a humid climate, so they can be moldy.

This is my second time stay at paulwood cabana Before i can there is no resturant no they build new cozy resturant and bigger room and view was amizing

You get what you pay for. Thank goodness for Paul’s brother!!!

After a long flight (10 hrs) and the direct drive to Nuwara Eliya (5 hrs), we booked this for 2 reasons: so we could walk to the waterfall nearby to stretch our legs and because it had a good reviewed restaurant for when we arrived. We were informed upon arrival that the restaurant was not only closed for the night but that the reason is because the owners (Paul & wife) were doing a local dance evening for tourists but it is sold out. It would have been very nice if the hotel had informed us of both of these things as its guests as this they knew well in advance and we booked last autumn. This left us in a massive storm in the pitch black in the middle of nowhere on an extremely steep street that is deadly to walk and taxi vans won’t drive up with 3 starving children. It was a horrible night. The kids room was even leaking and had a pool of water at the end of the bed. We never even saw / met the owners (Paul & wife). Then at check-out the nice person working there who could barely speak English said we can’t pay with card. So then we had to got to the ATM again, pay more fees, to pay for the hotel.
