La Luna Cabins

Tidy room. Great breakfast. Great Hospitality by Mom and Son duo.

No wifi. They have a mobile hotspot as wifi. Booking.com Picture only shows top room. But in most cases you will end up getting the underground room. Room is not bad but zero view.

Cute scenery nearby a tea plantation with a nice sunset view. Cleanliness and owner's dedication to their guests, friendliness and breakfast is nice. A good place for one night to experience sleeping in a cute tent but unfortunately not as comfortable as a hotel.

No shower towels offered and a bit cold. The restaurant nearby was closed so you need transport to main town. You can also hear the guests from downstairs talking.

Our double room was well appointed with a comfortable bed and a lovely hot shower. The weather was misty and cool during our stay and we really appreciated the extra blanket and hot water bottle provided. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and dinner during our stay. Our host was very helpful when I fell ill and provided great local insight into train travel options in the area. Would happily stay again.

Everything was great, nothing to dislike.

The owner Kushan with his mum was very friendly and always replied fast on WhatsApp, when we arrived we were served tea.

We had informed the day before that we should arrive around 2 pm, check in was from 11. But when we arrived the room wasn’t finished, we were served tea but still had to wait 25-30 min (we were all freezing after the 3h drive in rain). The cabin was cold, but it was okey during the night thanks to heavy blankets. There were no mosquito net, so the mosquitos held us awake until 4 am… People were living in the room below and you could hear them loud and clear. The cabin is made of metal. The location is probably not the best, but this was more a stop on a long drive so for us it was okey.
