I am extremely pleased with my stay here. It was in a convenient location and in a nice neighborhood. The house was quiet. There were guests renting out the other two rooms and everybody was respectful of one another. The bathroom was huge and I never once had to wait to use it. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Host Kapila have anticipated just about every need a person could have and provided a clean, bright, cozy home that oozes Sri Lankan culture. Laundry availability was great. Kapila communicate well, have every detail taken care of, and made my trip to Nuwara Eliya easy, relaxing, and memorable. Thanks so much!!

There are many factors that make Kent guest house is an excellent choice for your stay in Nuwara Eliya The staff excels more than any other hotel I have ever stayed to make sure you are satisfied with their service, room, amenities and breakfast. They can suggest the perfect restaurant, entertainment, shopping immediately for what you request. They have superb knowledge of Nuwara Eliya. The rooms, beds, linens and accessories are excellent. Aside from the Sri Lankan style breakfast and dinner, they will prepare anything that you might desire to eat. They act as the intermediary between you and the bus service, taxi service, tour agency and can arrange all of your trips to any part of Sri Lanka. I will be returning to Nuwara Eliya again and will only stay at Kent Guest House, my home away from home. They were so pleasant and even gave me a gift when I left. I extended my stay with them for 6 days from initial 2 days, I felt so comfortable in their care. Special thanks to manager Kapila.

I stayed at this guest house last week. I had read loads of comments regarding the guesthouse but still went with open mind. Kent guesthouse was absolutely great. It’s cheap, yet you have everything you need and more. The guest house is very close to Nuwara Eliya CBD. The food at the premises offers a great service and value for money. I had a double room that was clean, included free access to internet. Room was cleaned every day and the hotel was very tidy overall. Kapila and his staff were helpful and willing to help the guests anytime. The breakfast had everything you wanted, to Sri Lankan or Western taste and the meals at lunch and dinner were equally cheap and very large size. I would strongly recommend Kent guesthouse to anyone wanting to explore Nuwara Eliya at lower budget but with great service. You can also book trips to Horton Plains and sightseeing tours around Nuwara Eliya at affordable prices. I would recommend hiring a scooter for day for adventurous tourist. Speak to Kapila and he will arrange you a scooter. This was a great way to explore Nuwara Eliya. I also went on a trip to Horton Plains with a tour operator organised by host Kapila. I found that was great value for the money. I will definitely stay in Kent guesthouse when visiting Nuwara Eliya next time.
