Chris and his wife Shelley were so kind and accommodating during our stay. We arrived about 5:30 but hadn't eaten and went to the supermarket to gather food for a picnic on his patio. The property is simply stunning and though we didn't have much time to fully explore the entire acreage I expect it would have been wonderful. We did swim in the pool which was lovey and refreshing. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are modern. Each of our three rooms had a huge soaking tub. Chris welcomed us with champagne and duck pate...what a nice surprise. Breakfast was traditionally french with homemade apple juice from the garden. If you have a moment step into the chapel that is on the property, it is cosy and historic.
