I stayed on August 10–11. The host was responsive and answered my questions enthusiastically, but the service provided was very poor. Specifically:
There were no foot towels in either of the two bathrooms.
The bathroom doors were deteriorated and made loud noises.
Breakfast for four people consisted of just 3 packets of instant noodles, 3 eggs, and 1 portion of sticky rice. Each breakfast portion was worth about 15,000 VND (total breakfast value was around $3 for four people).
The host told me to cook the noodles myself and fry the eggs using a pan, but the pan was dirty and rusty, which was unsafe (as shown in the photo I attached).
The kitchen items were essentially discarded goods repurposed for guests. This felt very disrespectful.
I accidentally left behind a child’s bolster pillow after checking out, but the housekeeper didn’t notice. It was only found after I asked them to look for it. This shows how carelessly the room was cleaned.
This makes me concerned about whether the bedding I used had actually been replaced with fresh sheets.
Although the host apologized for my experience, I found them to be quite careless—offering such a breakfast to guests and providing unsafe, substandard amenities in a villa. The host needs to make significant improvements if they wish to continue in the hospitality business.
