We're from California and we stayed here twice! Once when we first arrived to Sapa and again after we tried another hotel, but Harmony Haven was better, cleaner, smelled better, the owner and his wife are so kind and so is the cleaning lady. They let us dry our clothes up on the top floor where they dry all the laundry like bed sheets, and they let us put some small things in their fridge to keep cold. They don't speak any English, and if they don't understand, they usually just say "no" like all other Vietnamese people do. Use your phone translator app and that will help. The internet is fast here (my internet speed test hit 300+Mbps both download and upload). Amazon Prime doesn't work in Vietnam but YouTube and Netflix do. The hotel sits opposite a school so when the kids get out (2x per day, they have AM & PM school sessions), there will be crowds of kids coming to the hotel to buy snacks. Location is great, a block away from the lake and the grocery store. AC works good too.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The place is quiet, clean, and comfortable, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. The beds are big and very comfortable, and having an elevator is definitely a plus, especially when traveling with luggage. For the price, it offers great value for money. The overall experience was pleasant, and we would happily consider staying here again. The only downside is that it’s not very close to the city center, so you may need to take transportation to get around. But overall, a great place to stay if you value peace, cleanliness, and comfort! ❤️
