Well appointed, quiet, warm and comfortable and a 15min walk to the hospital (which was why we were visiting Gateshead).

Property was great for our needs. Easy check in / check out. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Pleasant decor. All the facilities you could need. Very quiet location, but within easy distance of the city and Metro. Plenty of eateries about the area.
Very steep steps into the property (I walk with a stick, but I didn’t see this mentioned prominently in the listing) and creaky floorboards! Not really surprising in a house of its age though, but it made us very conscious of disturbing our downstairs neighbour!

It was comfortable and a fair size.
Had a few issues but messaged owner regarding these. Main problem is it didn't show or detail that it was an upstairs apartment and the stairs were steep, we would not have booked here had we known this due to mobility issues. The apartment comfort was disturbed by the smell of weed, that filled the rooms.
