The Urban Isla Downtown 7min walk from ferry

We had a wonderful stay! George was an incredibly warm and welcoming host who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time there. He took the time to walk us through the house and explain all the facilities. The property itself was fantastic: modern, spotless, and exceptionally spacious, especially compared to other accommodation in the area. The kitchen and bathroom were both modern and well-equipped, and you could tell a lot of thought had gone into the design, right down to the solar panels and conveniently positioned air conditioning. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. George's hospitality really made the stay extra special. We'd happily stay here again and highly recommend it! It's also right next to some of the best pistachio shops, and everything is conveniently within walking distance, making it a great base for exploring the area.

The only minor downside is that the street can get a little busy with cars passing through. Like many European streets, it's quite narrow, but that's certainly no fault of the property or host.

Great location, very clean and comfortable, the host is very kind and available at all times. It is noticeable that every little detail was taken under consideration to make your stay as best as possible. Very recommended for families.

Everything was just perfect

The best apartment we have stayed in - and we travel world wide. (For context, this was our 93rd visit to Greece). The apartment is down a quiet street away from traffic, but close to everything you will need. Nice outdoor area for sitting out. The owner simply cannot do enough for you, is a fantastic host and so kind - he really goes above and beyond. The apartment is immaculate and equipped to the highest possible standard! It was wonderful to find the fridge stocked with food and drinks, fresh fruit on the table, coffee machine pods, toiletries available in the bathroom etc. We only used 1 of the 3 bedrooms, but every single room was quality. Would highly recommend - it’s perfect and massively exceeded our expectations!

We have now stayed at George’s apartment twice, once in August 2025 and again in August 2026, both times for one week, and we were just as happy this time as we were the first time. The apartment is extremely clean, spacious, and very well maintained. It has three good-sized bedrooms and two bathrooms, so it is very comfortable for a family or a group. It has everything needed for a longer stay, including a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, and coffee machines (one Nespresso and one for filter coffee). The Wi-Fi works very well throughout the apartment, and all three bedrooms have their own air conditioning (and another one for the entrance/living room area). Everything shown in the listing reflects reality, and in our opinion, the place is even better than the pictures. George, the owner, takes great care of his guests and makes sure the apartment is like an oasis before we arrive: clean, cool, and ready for us to relax. The fridge was stocked with food and cold drinks when we arrived. These little touches really make a difference. We especially enjoyed the large balcony in the afternoons and evenings. The location is also excellent. It is about a 7-minute walk to the harbour, exactly as stated, and only 2 minutes from the busy centre of Aegina town. There is a local bakery just 1 minute away, a lovely pastry shop with delicious cakes and treats nearby, and a supermarket about 3 minutes away on foot. Most importantly, George is always extremely helpful, friendly, and available whenever we need anything. After staying here twice, we really feel that this apartment is our home away from home in Aegina. We would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and convenient place to stay in Aegina town.
