Clean, cozy, and quiet. Lots of space in the house, has two terraces, a huge living room, two separate bedrooms, and a separate kitchen. Situated in a quiet neighborhood in what looks to be an area full of vacation homes. The kitchen is amazing with very good stove and oven, and plenty of tableware and tools. The bathroom is well equipped, but could use a few more hangers for towels and clothes. The location is great for its quietness, but far from the downtown (25 min walking). There's a small beach 15 mins from the property (Agios Vasileios), with a restaurant and a locally grown produce tiny market on the way to it. You can order food via Wolt, it has a good selection of restaurants. You can also order consumer goods, but we found its selection not very good (items were out of stock, or of weird brands). We ended up walking 15 min to a nearby local store. Agios Vasileios beach has a bar that seems to open around July 1st, when it becomes rather crowded. Before that, there are very few people on the beach, and we found umbrellas we could use for free, and pretty much nobody in the water. The water is chilly before the bar opens (I suppose this is not a coincidence), but we adapted to it. The water sports facilities near the beach are great. Walking to the beach is not great (no sidewalk, you share the road with cars, scooters, and bicycles) but manageable. Walking to downtown is better, as 300 m from the property you get a sidewalk on the right side. Generally speaking, probably better if you have a car (we chose not to). There are cabs, but I suppose it's a matter of hit and miss with them. We "missed", as we asked for the price, got €8 (did not bargain at all), only to discover that it left us 500m from the property with the prospect of walking with luggage with no sidewalk. Fortunately, the host was very helpful here, coming after us and transporting all our luggage.

The house is clean and comfortable, the management is very helpful and kind. Recommended.
