Treetops ella

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the host, who showed us our room and offered us tea or coffee. The stay is beautiful and located outside of Ella in a peaceful location. Beautiful table outside to sit out and relax and a hammock too! Be aware that it is about 25 minute walk downhill into Ella or a tuktuk. The bedroom and bathroom were big. Good, comfy bed with mosquito net and warm water for the shower. You could choose what time to have breakfast, which was delicious - coconut roti, fruits, juice, coffee/tea, toast etc. Plenty of food to try! Host was very quick and helpful at replying to WhatsApp messages. She arranged a tuktuk on our last day to the station for us too for 1000LKR. I would 100% recommend staying here - we felt safe and looked after the whole time.

Wij verbleven hier met onze drie kinderen. In alles hier zit liefde en aandacht. De mensen zijn zo mega aardig. Ze kochten kadootjes voor de kinderen , maakten heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt en speciaal glutenvrij ontbijt voor mijn dochter. Ze bieden een eigen tuktuk driver aan, voor heel lage prijs. Regelden alles voor ons! Echt een dikke 10 voor deze lieve mensen. En dit alles onder het genot van een prachtige accommodatie met heerlijk uitzicht

We loved the hosts! They were very attentive and professional, and overall really nice . The rooms was big, with a beautiful view to the open quiet nature. The design & decor are absolutely beautiful! You can tell they care about every detail and have lots of love to the place. The room had everything we needed, they even have a card game and free clean water, coffee and tea :) Breakfast was yummy, with fresh ingredients and big variety! The sheets & towels smelled amazing, and beds were so comfortable! Distance to town is like a 10min drive via Tuktuk. Costs roughly 1,000 rupees one way

1. If you’re working remotely this might not be the place for you. The house is in a valley so both signal and WiFi are weak. 2. Water pressure is low so if you have a long hair it’s going to be a little challenging. * that being said, they might work on fixing both issues in the future so might be worth asking :)

I loved my stay here, it was peaceful and in such a beautiful setting. Before I had even arrived, I had received a text from the hosts asking if I needed anything, and they easily organized me a tuktuk to & from the property. The stay is in walking distance to the nine-arch bridge and is only 5 mins tuktuk from the main town. The room was very comfortable and has everything you may want or need, it's a true home away from home. The breakfast was exceptional!
