A good place for a short getaway.
Good points:
- Beautiful scenario all around it, a small village with lots of trails and places to explore for nature lovers.
- Peaceful place for a getaway.
- Friendly neighbours.
- The owners have listened to past criticism about this place and have bettered it, such as painting the place to prevent humidity/ mold and cleaning it more thoroughly.
- They give a big range of utensils for the kitchen, 3 tea bags, coffee and a bit of cereal.
- The shower is amazing, very warm and with great water pressure. They also made available some shower products, although they had been used before, and some towells.
- It´s very organised and neat.
- There is a heating white board next to the door, which can warm the place pretty well.
Bad points:
- The bed is awful. It s very uncomfortable and noisy, just moving around it makes a ton of noise and my back hurt after sleeping there. My boyfriend had to crack his as well, during the night. The sheets are okay, but could be bettered, as they aren´t that soft and seem a bit old.
- In the ad they say that our only neighbours will be the cows, but that isn´t true. This place is basically the basement turned into a small apartment of the house of the owners, so we can hear them walk on top, move furniture, etc, and they can probably hear us as well, which makes the notion of privacy a bit non-existent.
- I believe a small cooking area could be added inside, instead of just a microwave, a mini fridge and a sink. Why? Because the closest supermarket is kms away and if we want to stay longer than 2 days, microwaved food becomes unhealthy.
- When we arrived to the place there were so many flies inside it was crazy. Now bear in mind that it is next to a cow farm, so flies are normal, but they could have been more careful for it not to be the first impression we got. Me and my boyfriend spent a couple of minutes killing them with slippers and then it was perfect. After that we were simply careful when opening the door. Outside, however, it became almost impossible for us to sit at the lovely chairs, without being swarmed by them. We also noticed some mice crawling around, but, again, it s outside.
- One of the sockets next to the tea kettle didn´t work.
- We had to leave a day earlier than what we had booked and cleaned the place as much as we could, texted them about the situation and got no answer, :/.
- The WiFi is not very strong.
- Be careful when booking this place, as there is no public transport around, it s quite literally in the middle of nowhere and you need to be in good shape to walk to the closest village.

It was ok for the price of stays in Switzerland but you decide for yourselves… your experience might be different!
The apartment is self contained… owner had adequate dishes and utensils, that you could prepare your own food.
The property is very difficult to find and not marked at all. I sign at the entrance to the property off the main road would make the task much easier.
We also had a serious problem with flies. The moment we turned the heat on, flies literally came out of the woodwork. Owner should make some effort to get rid of them before renters show up. It was mid October and these pests are trying to find a place for the winter. Not sure if you’d have this experience earlier in the year. Can only speak for ourselves! Oh and I should mention at 3 meters tall your head will hit the beam just in off to the right of the entrance way.

Quite remote simple little apartment vlose to Rapperswil-Jona. Lovely neighbourhood, nice staff.
It was a tad cold, since the weather was unexpectedly cold for August. Also, since it was on the bottom floor, the stone floor was very cold.

Gesundheitsschädlich und irreführend!

Diese Unterkunft war eine absolute Zumutung. Schon beim Betreten roch es stark nach Schimmel, die Luft war feucht und stickig. Überall waren Spinnen und andere Insekten – die Sauberkeit war nicht gegeben. Mein 6 Monate altes Baby und ich bekamen Atemprobleme und Hautreaktionen. Wir mussten die Unterkunft noch am frühen Morgen verlassen, weil ein Verbleib gesundheitlich nicht möglich war.
Besonders ärgerlich: Auf den Bildern wird eine Terrasse gezeigt, die nicht zur Wohnung gehört. Das ist irreführend und enttäuschend. Die tatsächlichen Bedingungen stimmen in keiner Weise mit der Darstellung auf Booking.com überein.
Ich habe den Zustand mit Fotos dokumentiert und kann nur dringend davon abraten, diese Unterkunft zu buchen. Booking sollte diesen Anbieter überprüfen – so etwas darf nicht Teil eines seriösen Angebots sein.

WLAN war gut
Eine sehr gute Lage. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und Tipps zum Essen gehen haben wir auch erhalten. Sobald wir eingeschlafen waren, haben wir gut geschlafen.
Leider gab es im Badezimmer sehr viel Schimmel, welcher sich durch deutlichen Geruch in der gesamten Unterkunft bemerkbar gemacht hat. Der Luftentfeuchter musste die ganze Nacht durchlaufen, damit es in irgendeiner Form aushaltbar ist (vorallem bei Allergikern nicht geeignet).
Die Deckenhöhe ist mit Max. 1,80m nichts für große Leute. Wir haben uns mehrfach den Schädel gestoßen.
Der Lichtschalter für das Badezimmer ist gleichzeitig auch das Licht für das gesamte Apartment. Die Badezimmertüre ist eine einfache Plastik-Schiebetüre. Ebenso war die Ablage beim Waschbecken komplett mit Wasser bedeckt.
Zum schlafen hatten wir ein Bett und eine Schlafcouch (welche wir ca. 30 Minuten versucht haben aufzubauen).
Wir können nicht verstehen, dass so eine Unterkunft über booking vermietet werden kann.
