The Gig House - relaxing countryside spa break

Very comfortable bed and bedding. Showers and the log burner were also very good. It was brilliant to have a Spa on site. Lovely quiet location. The kitchen was well equipped and the spa robes and passes were a lovely touch.

We would have liked to have more use of the spa but as we were mostly out during the days and it wasn’t open early morning or in the evening we only managed a short time there. An onsite shop would be a welcome addition. We would have liked bigger towels for showering! A bath in the bigger bathroom would have been nice. Bedroom door of the bedroom to the right needed some WD40 on the hinges and the tap dripped in the kitchen. One of the kitchen chairs needed fixing and I couldn’t find a way of turning the rainfall shower on in the bathroom.

Beautiful, private and peaceful setting with great spa fasciitis on your door step. Very well equipped cottage, with everything you could possibly need. Very well equipped kitchen too. It came with a very useful information about the property as well as great recommendations for the local points of interest to explore.

It’s was clean, had character and comfortable.

The TV’s didn’t work very well, signal kept dropping out.
