Very clean and comfortable rooms. Sergio an outstanding host in recommending and booking activities. He also provided helpful taxi services ( at extra cost). 15 mins walk to centre of Santa Elena. Good breakfasts.

Sergio, el dueño, fue muy amable. Nos dio una habitación más espaciosa que la que habíamos solicitado. Tiene su casa preciosa, el jardín muy cuidado, unas mascotas muy entrañables. Nos preparó un desayuno abundante mientras veíamos colibríes en su jardín. Está a 10 minutos en coche de la entrada al bosque nuboso

It’s charming! Lovely garden areas and the upper common level has a nice view of the cloud forest. It’s a nice walk to downtown without the commotion of downtown. Sergio, the host, was wonderful and very helpful in booking tours for us, providing transportation, and recommending local restaurants. It was a true pleasure to stay with him. An excellent start to our time in Costa Rica.
There is a sports club nearby which has some noise some evenings. The sidewalks to and from downtown were a work in progress at the time of our stay.
