Quite location

We were looking for an authentic experience, and we found it. The apartment was perfect for reaching all of Rome's main monuments within a few minutes' walk—an ideal location in a very charming area. Our host, Alessandra, gave us useful tips and was always very helpful.

The location of the apartment is everything: 10 minutes from the Vatican, close to many sights, supermarkets, and a multitude of awesome food options at all sorts of price levels within walking distance. The neighbourhood feels very safe. The historic building is charming and quirky, and it very much feels like an authentic Roman location. The hosts are super friendly and will help if you need it. When we arrived, there was coffee and some food waiting for us. There were enough towels in the apartment, everything was clean and lovely.

The apartment itself feels like it could use a little love from the owners. There were not enough dishes, the oven was broken, and some of the duvets have seen better days. The apartment is on two levels and is accessed directly from the street. There is a bedroom upstairs and a sofa bed, separated by a movable door. If you need a lot of privacy within your travelling party, this apartment might not be ideal for you — for us as a family, it was great. The lower level is accessed via a staircase that is quite steep, so not ideal for families with small children or people with mobility issues.
