Apartman Scala

I travel very often and, of all the places I have stayed in over the years, I have honestly never come across anything quite like this. OUTSTANDING! Everything was exceptional and it genuinely felt like being at home. An incredible amount of care and attention has been given to every single detail. Think of something you might need during your stay and you will probably find it in this apartment even personal care essentials such as sanitary products, toothpaste, toothbrushes and cotton buds, as well as an almost endless supply of towels. Mateo was an EXCEPTIONAL host, and this is an apartment I will not easily forget. The beds were very comfortable, there was plenty of space for our luggage and, more importantly, generous and practical living spaces that made the apartment genuinely enjoyable to live in throughout our stay. There is free parking, and we were welcomed with water, milk, coffee capsules, ground coffee, tea and herbal infusions. The kitchen is also fully equipped with all the crockery and utensils you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. There is a supermarket right below the apartment, as well as a large balcony with a table and chairs. Being able to do some laundry was another great bonus, with a washing machine, drying rack and even pegs all provided. A special mention also goes to Mateo’s lovely mum, who welcomed us and took the time to explain everything we needed to know about the apartment. An exceptional level of hospitality and attention to detail that really made this place stand out.

Nothing negative to report. If I could make just one small suggestion to Mateo to make an already outstanding experience truly PREMIUM, it would be to add a shoehorn and an iron. These are, of course, entirely optional extras and in no way detract from what was an absolutely perfect stay.

Mateo and family have provided an excellent comfortable apartment that is spacious enough for a family. The place was clean and nice furnishings and comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and useful items whether tea bags or zip lock bags all provided . Bathroom also had many toiletries and washing machine available. The location was approx 20 mins walk from town centre in a quiet residential area and 10 mins walk from a beach. I had requested Mateo that portable fans may be helpful in the main summer season during extreme heat to make bedrooms more comfortable as the AC unit is in the living room area.

The view from the balcony was not so picturesque but perfectly adequate.

We were very happy with our stay. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, including coffee, tea, cooking oil, salt, and vinegar. The bathroom was also stocked with toiletries and laundry detergent. We were pleasantly surprised to find milk and bottled water in the fridge. Mateo and his parents were incredibly kind and welcoming. They explained everything clearly, recommended great restaurants, and even offered to store our luggage before check-in, which was very helpful. They also kindly allowed us to stay in the apartment after check-out because our flight was in the evening and the apartment was not booked for the next day. We really appreciated this thoughtful gesture. Having a supermarket in the same building was also very convenient. Thank you again for everything. We hope it wasn't a problem that we left the beach umbrellas behind when we checked out—we weren't sure where to leave them.

The only small downsides were that the town centre was about a 20-minute walk away, and I couldn't find an iron to iron my creased dress.
