Different apartment to what's really advertised on booking.com

Close to carbot shopping centre less than 5 minutes that's the only plus side

Smelled of weed not clean dangerous electrics broken doors not secure at all rowedy people downstairs in flat A who were playing loud music through out the night like they owned the place with no care for anyone else on the upper floors and been woken up at 8am to shouting and music

Decent night sleep

Comfy bed is probably the only decent thing about the room, doesn’t look like what the pictures so

Poor decor in bedroom, poor cleanliness in bathroom. I understand the bathroom is a shared space but certain parts are down to the cleaners surely. Sink cracked, extraction covered in dust, walls in bedroom covered in filler and not painted over. What looks like a scorch mark on the wall. Definitely not worth the money

Very dirty didn’t look anything like the pictures the bathroom has not been cleaned in a very long time. Room was freezing radiator didn’t work.

Disgusting. Not worth the money.

It was close to town, which was great with such bad weather. Bedding was soft, even if there was other people’s hair on it.

It was absolutely filthy. We didn’t know the bathroom was shared, nor the kitchen. There was no hot water from the bathroom tap, no mirror in the bedroom. Someone’s toenail was on the floor, and only 1 pillow per person with no extras. Towel had a stain on it, floor obviously hadn’t been hoovered, the walls were filthy. One of the drawer handles was broken. No one had cleaned that place properly in a while.

Decent place

The location was fairly decent, not far from the city centre, and some other bars and graffiti areas. The bed was comfy, and there was a bunch of decent furniture in the room. That you can cook, and wash clothes, if you wanted to.

It wasn't made clear from the pics that the bathroom is separate, but it was ok. Only realized once I read reviews. Also, the walls are indeed thin. We didn't really use the kitchen much, but the water was leaking from the faucet whenever you used it, and the stovetop had an issue which may cause an electric malfunction if not checked. The door knob was fidgety at times, too. The bed wasn't exactly a double.

Disappointing

The location was very central.

I found that whilst the location was central the property was extremely run down and in need of some serious refurbishment. The flat felt like basic student accommodation. Unfortunately I saw people injecting in the alleyway and in my very basic attic room where the walls were very thin I could hear a distressed woman next door all night long. The lock on the room didn’t feel safe and the shared bathroom, whilst clean, didn’t feel very comfortable or usable at all as a professional room through booking.com. The bed was a small double and the sheets smelled musky. Doable for an early airport stay but wouldn’t come back.

Easy enough stay, however the staff do bare minimum to accommodate and communicate.

The room was to be expected. Definitely an older flat with some discoloration on walls and ceiling but clean nonetheless.

I left an item in the room upon check out, contacted them immediately and heard back about posting it to me the same day. However once I sent my details and asked for their’s to transfer funds to cover the time/postage I received no replies.

Price was low but I would have happily paid a bit more for something cleaner and more up to date.

Host was very helpful in helping me get in to the property. The location right near Cabot Circus was great. Price was reasonable.

Property looking rickety. Needs an upgrade to electricals and a proper clean. My room looked out onto a gutter that was littered with cigarette ends. Not at all nice. Looking under desk revealed dust motes and other nasties. Sharing bathrooms was problematic as some users left bathroom very unclean. Also loo and shower in same room so not good at crowded times of day.

This was not the room in the picture. The pictures are not true to the actual room or house. Bed was small & uncomfortable.

Unacceptable

The kitchen was quite modern but it was very cold because the window couldn't be closed. The host was quick to response when we asked to cancel our reservation for the second night.

We've been to several cheap hotels in the UK and we're definitely not expecting luxury. But in this case: the bed was so uncomfortable and hard, you could feel the metal springs more than the actual matress, bed is super small, ceilings very low, the room was absolutely freezing and the actual radiator in the room was broken so there was an electrical one. This would have been fine but the only (functioning) outlets were right inbetween the small gap between the bed and the wall and the radiator got so hot on top that we were afraid the bed would catch fire in our sleep (maybe a little dramatic but it also smelled burnt so it wasn't a good option anyway). Additionally, the water pressure in the bathroom was an absolute joke and tall people cannot stand up straight in the shower and (since I read this in another review a couple of weeks ago I'm guessing it's not just a one time thing) the people in the room next to us were really loud and used the bathroom a lot even at midnight and it started to smell of Marihuana in our room. Bed sheets were also a bit dirty at the bottom.

Good for a one night stay.

Cheap and got the job done as we were only staying as we had a flight from Bristol airport next morning. Decent location as well.

Personally didn’t think it was made clear enough on the ad that facilities are shared. If you aren’t okay with sharing facilities like toilets and showers, give it a miss. One issue was having to wait to use the loo or shower if it was occupied by another guest. Also can hear other guests moving around loudly, felt slightly on edge.

Awful stay and false advertising

I hated this place since we arrived since it was a challenge to get the keys from the box on the side of the building. I had to call the property owner to get directions about this. .

The cleanliness, the strong marihuana smell, The worst was the toilet that was shared and the ad did not say it was shared, so it is false advertising The property owner is rude and unhelpful, he did not provide clear information and it is overpriced for what it is as we did not stay in this room and booked a new hotel room which was fantastic in the Clifton area and for the same price. To conclude, this is a complete rip off!

Room was excellent and tidy, we really enjoyed our time over there but just need to adress the issue raised up earlier.

Room was very clean and well managed as well as bathroom.

We liked everything about the property except excessive use of bathroom. After every 30 to 40 minutes someone was coming to use the bathroom and tbh at some point it was very frustrating and uncomfortable cause it was happening even at 12 pm and made us woke up couple of times. Plz solve this issue for further.

Nada. Es una estafa. Nos vendieron una cama para 2 personas y la cama era de 1 metro de ancho. Uno tuvo que dormir en el suelo. Sin ninguna solución. Encima no iba el wifi, sucio, con manchas y agujeros en la pared. Y la Alarma se disparó porque funciona mal a las 5 de la madrugada.
