    When I arrived at the hotel and entered the room, I was surprised by how highly rated the hotel was, as everything seemed very outdated. The curtains were no longer hanging properly in their fittings. The first room no longer had proper seals around the windows, the carpet was quite old and had an unpleasant smell, and the air conditioning unit was also very old. Overall, the room was simply not clean. There were visible signs that the room and bathroom had not been cleaned properly. The towels and bed sheets were stained. I assume they had been washed, but they were so old that some of the stains could no longer be removed. The lady at the front desk was very helpful when I complained and offered me another room with additional housekeeping. However, I still did not feel comfortable staying at the hotel. This has never happened to me before, despite having travelled quite a lot in my life. That said, both the hotel and Agoda were actually very helpful throughout the whole process, and I was able to cancel my booking. Thanks for this
