Ubud Riverside Villa

We had an incredible stay at the Ubud Riverside Villa. 1 week away, 4 girls in their 40s who wanted relaxation, privacy, and easy access to everything. Ubud Riverside Villa delivered! The property manager, Juli, was extremely helpful. We received pre-arrival information on how to get there. The taxi/Grab can only get you so far, then you take a 2 min walk down a well-lit, pretty, and safe pathway - a video is provided which is really helpful. When you've done it once, it's easy! We arrived in the evening, so Juli was unable to meet us in person but gave clear instructions to get into the villa. Once in, we ran about exploring the whole place and in our excitement completely missed that 2 of the rooms come off the deck for the pool. We messaged Juli on WhatsApp for assistance and she was very responsive even though it was late Saturday night. When we did meet Juli the following day, she provided us with advice on what to do and where to go and helped secure a Private Driver and itinerary for us for a day trip. Just make sure you give her enough time and a list of places you'd like to visit. The villa itself was spacious, clean, and cool. Plenty of air-conditioning in all the rooms. We didn't do any cooking but it was quite a well-stocked kitchen if you were so inclined. The villa has filtered water and coffee pods were supplied for the Nespresso. The view from the pool, and in fact, all the rooms, is pure delight - Coconut trees, rice fields, a bubbling stream makes you feel one with nature. Pool was clean and has a shallow-end and then a great deep-end of over 6ft, so you can safely dive-in. The surrounding area is perfection! You are away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Ubud but importantly, you still have great restaurants and activities nearby. We did walk into town it's about 30-40 minutes, Grab is much easier though time can really vary depending on traffic, but when you're on holidays, who cares!

Only minor but as other reviews have mentioned, there is no communal lounge area. There is a huge amount of space around the pool and two of the bedrooms have significant extra space for lounging. As a family, you might want a more communal area, but as 4 women on a girl's trip, we were glad to spend all day together exploring, getting massages, wining and dining, then escape to our own rooms in the evenings.

We had an amazing stay at Ubud Riverside Villa. The location was perfect and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The facilities were more than ample, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax. A special shout‑out to Gebe — he went above and beyond in helping us plan activities and days out. Truly exceptional service. Highly recommend

The listing states a Hot tub but doesn’t have one , outside was a little dated and lack of chairs (loungers)

It is a stunning property. We loved the space. Truly gorgeous outlook. We loved the pool & deck. The local area is fantastic - calm, not too busy. Great places to eat - warungs and western - close by. All tvs & internet worked. It has a magical penthouse bedroom. Our family loved spreading out in this spacious house.

We had two building sites either side in July 2026. Unfortunately bali-style the workers started 8am everyday including the weekend. It was not restful at all until 4-5pm. Noisy area was right next to the penthouse bedroom at 8am. Its paradise, but a noisy one. There are also a cpl dogs to navigate in little laneways. When we contacted the manager they helped immediately.
