A comfortable place to stay with everything needed and close walk to the hospital

I really appreciated how spacious and well-equipped Dolly Cottage was. Everything I needed for a longer stay was provided, including toiletries, cleaning equipment, and plenty of storage. The Sky TV and private parking space were also big positives, and it was great to have the option for bedding and towels to be washed on request. Pauline was very attentive and helpful throughout, greeting me on arrival, showing me around, and even offering to arrange extra parking permits if needed. The location was great; only a 5–10 minute walk to the hospital, which made it very convenient. Overall, the cottage felt private, practical, and comfortable. Some facilities, like washing machines and extra parking permits, were available at an additional cost, which could be useful for those who need them. I should also add that Pauline's gorgeous cat was a lovely friendly addition to my entry and exit from the property each day! :)

There were a few spiders during my stay, which is to be expected at that time of year, though they were manageable. The bathroom mirror wasn’t wired in, but this was only a minor detail in an otherwise very well-equipped space. The kitchen window didn’t have a blind, which wasn’t an issue most of the time, but on the occasions when someone was using the shed behind (where the freezer and washing machine are kept), it did feel a little less private. Overall, these were small points that didn’t take away from the comfort and practicality of the stay.

Amazing cottage, lovely lady.

Pauline was absolutely lovely and so understanding with us. Her instructions were very clear and we didn’t struggle to get anything working. She was asked by my partner to create a set up for my birthday and she did just that, we had a lovely stay and would happily stay again.

Everything was good, no dislikes.

In-accurate listing, needs lots of improvement!

- Welcoming friendly host - Clean garage apartment

- Washing machine & tumbler are NOT in apartment as listed, they are in a dirty shed in the backyard of the host's house. And surprisingly charging extra fees for usage of any of them!! - iron was extra dirty and again within that dirty shed. - iron board is not only dirty in the shed but un-usable too. - the couple chairs are mini type and not comfortable for sitting, the couch is not comfortable as well, the bed is not adequately raised from floor and not convenient to utilize. - no privacy coverage of front door and kitchen windows. - no blackout curtains in bed room with a sunrise of 4:30 and sunset of 9:30 made sleeping quite difficult. - the towel-drying-radiator in the bathroom makes the room a sauna! and can't turn it down because sinks and shower get their hot water thru it!!

Exceptionally clean space and very thoughtful hosts. It was just the perfect space we needed.

Location was perfect. Walking distance to ASDA and the hospital where I had friends. The cottage was serene, exceptionally clean and just what I needed for my company of 3. My kids loved their stay at Dolly Cottage. And I found book ideas for my next reading plan from the mini library.

Honestly, I can't think of anything I didn't like. Loved everything about Dolly Cottage.
