Unacceptable!

The property is a small flat in a quiet, residential building that has been renovated and furnished to a good standard. It has AC in the living room and bedroom, TV and internet. It's a short walk to Peiraiki, a popular seaside area of Piraeus that has an abundance of cafés and seafood (mostly) restaurants. It is also very close to a playground, supermarkets and pharmacies. There's a bus stop next to the playground.

We arrived to find the property had not been cleaned before we got there. We could see the floors were absolutely filthy and found marks in the bedsheets (there was only one bedsheet in each bed and no spare bedsheets in the property). As it was late at night we decided to spend the night and contact the owner in the morning. In the daylight we could see a lot of other places in the house were covered in dirt/ stains such as the dining table and chairs, the remote control for one of the AC units and at least one of the towels. We got in touch with the property; they requested pictures which we sent. They did not contact us again until 7pm to ask when we would like to have the cleaners come in. As we had to leave the property and I did not have internet on my phone while I was out, I responded late that night to ask what time the cleaners can come in tomorrow and received a message saying they'll let me know in the morning. So we slept in dirty bedsheets for the 2nd out of the 3 nights as well. In the morning I was informed that the cleaners could come around 13:30-14:00 and on top of that we would have to be at the property for them to come and clean. I explained that this was not possible as we had a number of prior arrangements we could not postpone due to the limited amount of time we had there. We offered to take any valuables with us but were told it is company policy and the only option if we had to go is for bedsheets to be left outside the property for us to change (not sure where that would be as I could not see a clean and safe space for them to leave these in the communal corridor of the building). We were not satisfied with this and inquired regarding their compensation policy. The response was that they tried to be helpful and they are sorry but it's high season and therefore the cleaners are busy and can miss the mark sometimes. I urge you to have a look at the photos and make up your own mind about that.

It was exactly how the pictures look and good for our in between location stay.

It was the perfect space to stay for a night in between locations

The cleanliness was not up to standard and the wifi kept cutting out even while plugged in on charge. The neighbours were a bit noisy.
