Ferienhaus Gießler

The house is lovely, the setting is very pretty. It was quiet and the owner was helpful.

Challenging to find at night in a rain storm, especially as the house numbers road sign had been switched backwards! However, we found it easily with what3words: Whitish.amplitude.genuinely, which takes one to the door.

Such a beautiful place and surroundings set in a remote place with perfect harmony of the outdoors and clean fresh air. Wonderful views that amazed us . So quiet and peaceful with nice walks/hikes with a small village close by. The property had everything you need. WiFi for the kids. The most comfortable beds we all have slept in. The host Daniel was very nice greeted us on arrival and was at hand if we needed. This place felt like home inside but outside I have never seen anything so beautiful. We didn’t want to leave.

There was nothing to not like.

Die Lage ist ein Traum, mitten im Grünen, weit ab von der nächsten Ortschaft. Die Familie ist sehr nett!

The house was in a lovely quiet location in nature and was clean and comfortable however it was not as advertised.

The house was not at all as listed. The communication from the host was terrible, questions remained unanswered until i said i was going to cancel and then again afterwards, we had no idea where to leave the key etc on the last day. There are stairs up to the property and the apartment, 2 flights in total so the step free apartment is only once you are upstairs. There is not a private garden area or spa pool. There is no outdoor privacy at all. If you go downstairs there are dogs and cats on site that love to greet you, which we were very happy with but others would not be. There is a swing for kids but it is next to the road, not a playground that is secure. There is no microwave and although there is a washing machine I had to ask where it was and it was inaccessible a few times due to it being shared or the fact it is in a room that is at the back of the ground floor and if the guys from the woodwork place put furniture in front you cannot access. The farm referenced in the description is not at all obvious, there are goats in a building over the road that is protected by dogs and no mention of uses being able to visit. Lastly, the tax figures listed are not what we were charged. Overall, whilst we had a nice stay and the apartment was comfortable, it is far from as advertised and we were disappointed that it was not the homely, farm experience we were sold.
