Beautifully decorated and lovely spot next to river and close to Stirling train station

This is a full apartment with two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. It includes all the amenities required including laundry. It was a nice size and Free Wifi and streaming services were provided. The location is beautiful, overlooking the river, but sadly during our stay the roof was being repaired so our view was scaffolding. This apartment is a short 10min walk to the Stirling train station giving easy access to Edinburgh, and a not an unreasonable walk to Stirling Castle and the Wallace monument. The local grocery (Tesco) is also a 10 minute walk and made for easy (and less expensive) meals during our stay.

When we first arrived we had some trouble locating the building but a quick email to the host resolved that. We were taken aback when arriving because it looked like an old tenement building but the apartment was completely redone and quite nice - although the sofa may need to be replaced as we found it quite uncomfortable. The bathroom shower design was a solid miss in my opinion, and no matter your height or which shower head you use, water goes everywhere. Expect to sacrifice a towel to dry the bathroom floor after showering. Additionally, the washer/dryer is a combination unit and we found that after even after a double cycle it never really got the clothes completely dry - and a clothes rack was provided most likely for that reason.

Best place to stay in Stirling.

We arrived too early and tried our door code, which didn't work. We contacted the host and they came and reset it for us while we went to lunch. When we got back, there were no problems at all. Gemma was super responsive and very nice. We felt like we were at home. We wanted to visit Stirling (obviously) but also Glasgow and Edinburgh. This location was an idea place to be.

We had a little trouble finding it. We found the building, but it does not have numbers on it. We discovered that you need to go right inside the building and up the stairs. The apartment itself has the keyless entry pad on the door. Also, the lock box for the building key is actually around the corner of the entrance of the building, not really just left of the door. Otherwise, everything you read is absolutely true. It is very safe and secure and quiet.

Exceeds expectations

Hosts are responsive and provide ample information regarding recommendations (activities, restaurants, bars, transportation, etc..) and use of appliances. Beautiful and peaceful accommodation within walking distance to the Stirling Castle and center city. Impeccably clean!

An excellent base to explore Stirling.

Location was excellent. Walked to Stirling Castle, along Forth River and to a city pub. Drove (but could have walked) to Wallace Monument. Kelpies only 30 minute drive away. A really comfortable, well fitted out base to explore Stirling area.

All was really good though the road approach and front entry detracts somewhat.

Excellent communication from the hosts, very clean and modern apartment which had all the essentials you may need when having a short stay here. Lovely little touches from the hosts to make the apartment welcoming.

Very squeaky floor boards, often this wouldn’t be an issue with us but when travelling with a baby whom has earlier bed time we found ourselves tip toeing around or in fear of moving room to room so not to wake him as they were extremely loud.

Lovely property!

It was a lovely property. Very clean. Shower great. Near the river so picturesque and quiet. The hosts were great at replying to any emails and sent all the necessary details the day before we were due to arrive. Small convenience store 5 minutes away for milk/bread.

Nothing against the property at all but the location didn’t suit. We were coming for Bloody Scotland book festival. It was a bit further out than we would have liked.

We liked the apartment.it was very clean and modern..it had all the appliances that a family need for a vacation.. Also the location was great..very close to the city centre yet quiet...the owners of the apartment checked in with us a few times to make sure everything was ok...my family enjoyed there stay...

The only thing I would improve.would be the seating in the lounge... simply needs another seat...1 couch just not enough for a family...

Great apartment in Stirling!

What a great find! This newly renovated apartment was perfect for our short stay in Stirling. It is very well equipped and easy to get to. The owners were very helpful and responsive from reservation to checkout. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the train/bus stations ... just a little more to tourist destinations downtown. Quiet and comfortable. We'd definitely go back!

It's important to know (especially for those of us that come from warmer climates) that Scottish homes do not have air conditioning ... only heat. This apartment has radiant heat and the central thermometer control was not intuitive.

Loved the location and the modern facilities. The hosts were amazing. We received every bit of information that we needed. The lounge room was full of information about eateries, sight seeing and things to do.

Nur zwei dünne Decken, war für 3 Personen etwas wenig, zumal das Kingsizebett wie in UK üblich nur auf max 1,50 Meter kommt, da muss man sich schon sehr lieb haben.Entgegen der Angabe gibt es weder Balkon noch Aussenbereich. Die Info auf Nachfrage, dass mit dem Öffnen der bodentiefen Fenster das Wohnzimmer doch quasi zum Aussenbereich wird, war für uns das Gegenteil von überzeugend
